Museum House - Dar Melyani

Free breakfast was amazing. Location was perfect really in the middle of everything without being too loud/busy right on the street. Host was super friendly and was always there for us. Let us do washing (for a small fee) too which was super. We also got a free room upgrade to a massive room, which was great. Aircon was very effective. View from the terrace was beautiful.

The bed only had a doona, no sheet.

Great location. The house is full of antiques and feels like stepping back in time. The rooftop patio provides a fantastic view and is a great place to relax. The host is very accommodating , helpful and friendly. It is really an honour and privilege to have been able to stay here.

The hot water wasn’t that hot but is typical for older buildings.

Our host was exceptionally kind and welcoming. We truly felt as if we were welcomed as a family. There was an issue with our originally reserved room, but our host managed to find an even better solution for us. The museum house is beautiful and very well located, so it's easy to find on your own. We were served amazingly tasty meals, the facilities were comfortable and very clean. But still the best part of the stay is to connect with people and learn about their culture. We miss Fes already, it was a highlight of our trip to Morocco. We hope to come back in the future!
