About this chalet rental

Come to Pembrokeshire with an average 1667 hours of sunshine per year! Stella Marina is situated in the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park with fabulous scenery and many beaches, and Freshwater East beach is just a few steps away! Leave the car where it is and stroll to the beach without having to worry about time restrictions and expensive parking. This is a nautical themed chalet and the blue and white decor is fresh and homely. This is an end of terrace chalet which benefits from a patio area on the side so you can have sunny lunches. The chalet benefits from a new and improved pitched roof and coloured cladding which provides a more cosy and secure feel. The lilac blue is in keeping with the pastel colours of the Pembrokeshire harbourside cottages. The accommodation consists of an open plan lounge/dining/kitchen. Wifi is included and there is a new Sony TV with freeview catch-up TV BBCiplayer, Netflix with subscription and a DVD pLayer. In the lounge there is a lovely feature fireplace with a shell and pebble flame effect which continues the seaside feel and adds instant warmth and ambience. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need and includes an electric hob, oven, and dishwasher. The dining room has a comfortable extendable table and a quaint dresser housing lots of books, games and DVDs. There is a new blue and white striped stair carpet to:
Bedroom 1 this has feature wall with lighthouses and ships and a cosy double bed and there is also a built in cupboard with hanging space. Bedroom 2 has wallpaper with ships and two 3ft adult single beds (no bunks!) with new memory foam mattresses and also a wardrobe. The beds are made up for your arrival with fresh linen and the double bed has a lovely merino wool duvet which keeps you cool in summer and warm in winter. The price includes all electric l, wifi and a welcome pack of essentials to help get you started - milk, tea, coffee, sugar etc. and cleaning products and tea towel. There is a bathroom with a bath and a shower over - please bring your own towels and beach towels. You are welcome to use the beach equipment which includes two chairs and windbreaks, bucket and spade etc. The chalet comes with its own free allocated comfortable level parking*. All you need to do is relax and enjoy your stay!

*If required there is an EV charging station in the beach car park. Please note electric charging is prohibited in the chalet.

The little house was immaculate when we arrived and with lots, but not too much, of seaside decor throughout. All very tasteful and lovely....blue and white, stripey, coastal pictures and wallpaper, puffins everywhere and more. The bed was comfy ( always very important!) and the bed linen beautiful and lovely quality. Nice to have coffee and tea and milk there when we arrived and some cakey snacks too.

Donna’s chalet was perfect for our family holiday, 5 minutes walk to the beach with a great restaurant at the end of the road (Jacks at the Longhouse) for dinner on our way to the beach! Donna sent helpful tips on local sights to see before and during the stay. We fell in love with Freshwater East, the beach is so clean and not busy! Loads to do for children in the local area. Can’t recommend enough! Thanks Donna!

A lovely, compact, clean property within easy walking distance of the beach. A great base for a week’s holiday with the kids. Had everything we needed. Bottle of wine, milk, coffee, tea and Welsh cakes to greet us upon arrival. Much appreciated, thanks. Free good Wi-Fi and NetFlix compatible TV kept the kids happy. Bodyboards, windbreaks, beach tent etc in the under stairs cupboard. The kitchen had all we required to eat in most nights including Dishwasher, cooker, microwave and a full range of pans and cutlery. Lovely sandy beach with rock pools within a few hundred yards. Plenty of places to visit when the weather wasn’t so great. Pembroke Castle, Carew Castle, Picton Castle, Manor Wildlife Park, Tenby etc. Had a great week and would definitely stay in this seaside-themed property again. Very friendly, helpful owner. Thanks again.

We felt very looked after and appreciated the milk,coffee and treat that were perfect when we had just driven 7 hours. Also the bottle of wine in fridge!!! Lovely location, the neighbours were lovely and the staff at Jacks were great too.

With 2 young children aged 6 and 8 it was an Ideal spot for a break by the sea. The house provided all that we needed for a short vacation. In the local area lots of lovely local beaches to choose from, the closest only 8 minutes walk from the house. Jacks bar 2 minutes walk away provides good food, drinks and a friendly staff. When the weather was not so good Hanger5 trampolining in Harverfordwest. Heatherton World of Activities was great fun day out for all the family. And we all enjoyed our visit to Pembroke Castle. Great memories for our grandchildren

Simply a great chalet in great location

Putting aside the great location of the Fresh Water East great sandy beach that’s just a 5 mins walk from the chalet. The chalet is well positioned with good allocated parking. The owners Donna & Tony have made a great job of creating the seaside holiday feeling with good choice of decor. The beds and seating are comfortable. All the equipment is clean & modern and everything you need for a great holiday is there. No hesitation in recommending.

We had a lovely week in fresh water east, the property was very clean and the kitchen very well equipped. The only thing it was missing was a washing machine but there are laundrettes locally. The chalet is on a lovely complex which was very quiet and only 5 mins walk from a gorgeous long sandy beach. We loved exploring and went to 4 beaches, pembroke castle castle the dinosaur park. So much to do for families in the area. Thank you for a fun and relaxing week

I have stayed in Freshwater East on many occasions, this was the first time at this property. The chalet was very clean and very well equipped with all you could need. The bedding smelt clean and the beds very comfortable, the whole place had been cleaned to a very high standard before we arrived. There was even lots of items for the beach ( which is a 2 minute walk) including beach tent, wind shield, buckets, spades, body boards and sun shade. Freshwater beach is wonderful and very safe, there are Lots of rock pool at either side of the large expanse of beach. Travelling a little further a field there is lots to see and do. I would highly recommend this accommodation decorated with a seaside theme, and hope to return next year if not sooner.

The little touches of leaving tea coffee milk and milk was great and I especially enjoyed the wine! This was our third time staying at Trewent park and Stella Marina is one of the most comfortable and tastefully decorated accommodation that we have stayed in. It is everything from the basics to the little extras that make it extra special, such as the communication with hosts Tony and Donna (and thank you for letting us check in earlier) , the beach equipment (chairs, wind breaks, buckets and spades), very comprehensive welcome pack and a welcome pack (milk, tea bags, sugar etc and yummy welsh cakes!). We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Stella Marina at Trewent park, it is the perfect location to explore this part of the beautiful Pembrokshire coast and the park is well maintained and quiet, plus the added bonus of the Long House, We will be back!

A really well thoughtout holiday let, immaculate, modern, light and airy, comfy beds, we wanted for nothing, There were some essentials provided and a welcome card and treats. Also a great location minutes from the pretty sandy bay. There are so many interesting places to visit, within easy reach.I couldn't recommend it highly enough.

From the moment we walked through the door we felt at home, lovely welcome pack waiting for us, the cake was delicious. The chalet was very homely and comfortable, everything you needed. This was an excellent location to explore West Wales and just having the beach across the road was fantastic. I have been on holiday to different counties each year for the past 12 years and each time staying at self catering apartments or houses. This house must be the cleanest and most fully equipped with household equipment than any of the others. The location was perfect for long coastal walks with stunning scenery, as well as being near to many local attractions, castles and National Trust properties - all well worth a visit. I was also very impressed when I arrived to find a welcome note, Welsh cakes and subsequent text from the owners of the property to check that everything was okay. If I visit Wales again in the near future I shall certainly try and book the same accommodation.

A lovely chalet close to beach. Very well looked after. Bottom step of stairs collapsed at one point but nothing serious! Friendly neighbours as well & good parking. Thoroughly recommended though interior space a little tight.

We really enjoyed our stay here. It’s only small but it had everything we needed, was clean, and well looked after. Kitchen utensils & appliances were good quality and seemed new. Emails from the owners prior to arrival were helpful and they continued to check we were ok whilst there too. Holiday park is very close to the beach and near to the lovely Barrufundle Bay and Green Bridge of Wales. My first time to South Wales and hopefully will be back someday. Even in the middle of winter it’s a lovely place. Would definitely recommend staying at Stella Marina!

Number 32 "Nautical but Nice": A holiday to remember.

We enjoyed our stay at number 32 "nautical but nice" . The accommodation more than met our expectations, having read good reviews on line prior to booking. It was clean, tidy and comfortable with all mod cons. We spent the October '17 half term week walking on some of the beautiful and stunning Pembrokeshire coastline. We recommend Stackpole Quay (N. Trust) nearby for the Bosherton Lilly Ponds; Barafundle and Broad Haven beaches. Tenby, (a short distance away) is an interesting seaside town with its own beaches and the chance to visit Caldy Island by boat, (which proved to be an excellent day out). Pembroke castle nearby, (which is mostly intact), is also recommended . We also went to Martins Haven and Marlowe (N.Trust) which also has some stunning coastline views. This was certainly a holiday to remember.

On arriving for a 2 week stay the cottage stank of damp. Despite using the heating and ventilating a lot over the 2 weeks the smell of damp was still strong on the day we left and all of my clothes had taken on the smell. The 2 bedrooms do not have any wardrobe space at all so you have to live out of a suitcase. The only available WiFi at the cottage is a very slow BT Open network which drops out intermittantly and costs over a fiver each day. The next door neighbour parked his car directly at the bottom of the steps to the cottage blocking them completely. This forced us to scramble up the grassy 45 degree slope. When the grass was wet this was definately a health and safety risk and not to be recommended for anyone who is not very agile and sure of their footing.
