Lovely setting,wonderful pool.

Lovely location, nice property, friendly hosts and a very clean pool. It was a little cold considering it is solar heated but it was clean and inviting. The kitchen had everything we needed. Good TV channels and TV. Plenty of information about the area. Parking very close to the cottage.

The mattress in the double.room was memory foam and we found it very uncomfortable. The sofas were poor quality and stained but most annoying was that you could feel the wooden frame through if you laid on them..they were a big let down, we had to cover them with throws from home and spare pillows to get comfy. There were no insect nets so you couldn't have the windows or doors open after dark, there were strange cracks in the walls and floors where the building was subsiding. The mattresses on the twin beds were comfy but we daren't sleep in there because of the crack across the floor. This is possibly where the COCKROACHES were hiding out! I don't sleep well so was up with the cockroaches EVERY night..we found 11 over the 5 night stay..one we photographed on the cafetiere I had washed and left on the drainer. 2 we took to Disneyland with us in our towels to the next stage of our holiday so actually that is 13 all together..They were sitting on my clothes as I tried to pack during broad daylight. The place seemed very clean but there was a huge problem with the dragons which popped up when next door house and cottage emptied their washing machines..it even happened when we did a clothes wash. Maybe this is where they were coming from but it RUINED our stay.. I'm still having nightmares and reconsidering our move to France entirely as a result. DISAPPOINTED. What could I say? Thanks for the lovely stay, we found a nest of roaches under the lovely pine wardrobe and actually all over the bloody place?? No way. I would have liked my money back..I have photos but I just want to forget it forever...very relaxing..not.
