This one-storey stone house with tiled roof and wooden shutters, is over 300 years old and is located in the heart of a quiet and friendly hamlet surrounded with fields. It has a front and a back garden with solid outdoor table.
The recently renovated and fully equiped kitchen, with its thick, dark wooden ceiling, has a lot of caracter.It opens up through a large french door to the back garden.
The large living room has a comfortable leather sofa facing an old open fireplace ( wood is provided with no extra charge), and a big oak farm table seating 10.
It opens up to the 2 spacious bedrooms : bedroom n°1 has 1 double bed and bedroom n°2 has one double bed + 2 single beds.
The house offers a total getaway into the beautifull rolling countryside of the Southern Charente, near the Dordogne border.
Two miles away is Chalais, a busy but small market town with all necessary amenities: supermarket, restaurants, bars, banks, a picturesque outdoor pool, a train station, and a vibrant street market every Monday.

un lieu très agréable, calme, reposant
de bonne superficie et un très grand jardin
la possibilité de garer son véhicule a l'intérieur est appréciable.
nous avons passez une très bonne semaine avec une météo
très favorable.
le village a 4 kms est mignon et complet au niveau des commerce et station .
très satisfait , nous recommandons au amoureux du calme et de la campagne.
