About this cottage rental
You want calm and serenity in the very heart of the forest, to rest in peace, to relax among the animals in total immersion with nature so do not hesitate!
The gîte de la Guirandole is located on a remarkable natural site, ideal for hikers, fishermen, hunters and nature lovers.
The cottage dating from before 1794 has been completely renovated in the purest tradition to keep all its authenticity and bring you the comfort of today, with a decoration of quality.
It benefits from the prefectural classification "furnished with tourism 4 stars", ranking of lodgings of France 3 ears and themes Fishing, Hiking, Baby Welcome.
It will allow you to give you many activities on the property (hiking, fishing, hunting, photos, picking mushrooms, swimming nearby, etc ...) but also to discover the vineyards (Saint Emilion, Bergerac, Cognac, Bordeaux , etc. ..), the castles of the Dordogne, the medieval villages, the beautiful landscapes of our valleys, the gastronomy, the visits of Bordeaux classified as World Heritage by UNESCO, Lascaux cave classified as historical monuments and a multitude of activities that you will find on our sites giteguirandole-eygurande, gite-guirandole.
The cottage of the guirandole ideally located is in limit of 4 departments the Gironde, the Dordogne, the Charente and the Charente Maritime in the forest of Double 50 000ha.
We are 25 minutes from Saint Emilion, 1 hour from Bordeaux, 1 hour from Périgueux and 1 hour from Angoulême.
With an area of 110 m², it can accommodate 6 people, it consists of:
- on the ground floor of an entrance, a bathroom with walk-in shower, a bedroom of 18 m², a kitchen of 24 m² open on a living room of 25 m² and on a terrace 30 m².
- On the floor of a landing serving a first bedroom of 23 m², a bathroom with shower, toilet and a second bedroom of 14 m².
We are close to several leisure bases:
- the large pond of Jemaye with its supervised swimming, its picnic area, its restaurant, games for the children, its course of health.
- the water of Montpon settled at the edge of the river Isle. Supervised swimming, games for children, restaurant, canoes, electric boats.
- Paradou leisure park fee with supervised swimming, water slides, swings, etc ...
Stays outside the school period are two nights minimum charged € 290. The price of an extra night is 80 €.

We have just returned from two weeks here and absolutely loved it. The property has been thoughtfully and beautifully restored and is well equipped. The location is beautiful and peaceful, and there is lots of space for children to run around in. We also loved the table tennis table!
Patrick and Christine were extremely welcoming and were at the property to meet us and show us round, even though we got lost on the way and turned up extremely late.
The area is great for things to do - we spent a day in St Emillion, a day in Bergerac, a couple of days at a waterpark (also Bergerac), and a day at the beach at Jamaye.
We would definitely recommend this property.

We spent a lovely week at Gite Guirandole. Inside it is very spacious and modern, while outside there are plenty of walks around the estate and into local villages. Wonderfully isolated, but not too far to the hustle and bustle of Montpon. Enfin, Patrick et Christine sont tres gentil. Merci pour une semaine calme et comfortable.
