About this cottage rental
10 minutes from Saint Emilion (medieval city classified by UNESCO) and 60 km from Bordeaux, 3-star gite, 5 to 7 people very spacious (200 m²), quiet environment.

Outdoor equipment: 2 covered garages, garden table for 8 people, 2 hammocks, deckchairs, barbecue and plancha.
Sports equipment: 4 adult bikes, ping-pong table with rackets, 2 tennis rackets, a basketball, a game of pétanque balls
Collective equipment 100 meters away with no road to cross: basketball hoop, associative tennis, hiking trails. 14 km from the aquatic complex.

A wonderfully characterful home for the six nights we stayed (it didn't seem long enough!) in a beautiful setting with the garden at the back opening onto vineyards, lots of birdsong and very peaceful.
This is a wonderful base if you want to explore the wider region, or if you simply want to relax, sample fantastic wine from local chateaux that are within walking distance and browse the astounding collection of books that is housed at the gite!
Nathalie is a most thoughtful and considerate host, everything provided that you could want. Thank you.

Nathalie was the perfect host offering lots of advice and suggestions for our stay.
The gîte is very impressive, very tastefully furnished & decorated, perfect for the three of us but would easily accommodate more.
Nathalie has thoughtfully provided lots of extras such as the bikes & helmets. The garden has so many treasures; hammocks, dining area, loungers and the peaches are beautiful!
We’ll definitely be back!

We spent a wonderful week here at Chateau Champ De Mars - a beautiful, charming cottage – clean, spacious, beautifully decorated and well-equipped. The owner is there to welcome you initially and is on hand if you have questions but is in no way intrusive. A real bonus for us was being able to walk to the boulangerie each morning (2 minutes away) and access the village tennis court, positioned just across the garden from us, overlooking the vineyards.The bikes, tennis racquets, pingpong table and BBQ meant that we could relax locally when we didn’t fancy a longer trip out.Places we enjoyed visiting – St Emilion, Bordeaux, Lac de Gurson, Dune du Pilat, cycling to neighbouring villages, in particular St Genes de Castillon, for shop and restaurant, walk by the Dordogne in Castillon la Bataille.
