Casa do Poço Funchal

Heerlijke rustige mooie tuin, veel privacy, diverse plekken/tafeltjes om te zitten, hele vriendelijke eigenaren, ruime woonkamer. Prima badkamer (niet te klein) en keuken.

Het bed is aan vervanging toe (kraakt veel). Doordat de accommodatie iets hoger ligt, meer kans op bewolking. De koekenpannen waren niet geschikt voor inductie (hadden we de eigenaar nog willen zeggen) Toen wij er waren was het jaarlijkse feest (10 dagen, hadden we helaas niet gezien tijdens de boeking), met concerten tot laat in de “achtertuin”.

Très belle piscine et très belle vue sur Funchal, le port et la mer. Toit terrasse disponible pour manger Plusieurs bus à proximité dans le quartier de Sao Roque qui permettent de descendre à Funchal et d aller au jardin de Monte Palace Calme

We loved our stay.. The location was perfect, because it was close to the centre of Funchal (1 bus for 10 min) and the supermarket and cafe’s were only a 5 min walk. We enjoyed the pool a lot. It was the perfect temperature to cool down and relax. The hostesses were also very friendly and super accommodating to our needs. We also really enjoyed our house. It was very clean and we had everything we needed. It was the perfect place to chill. We’ll also miss the cat. She was very sweet and loved to cuddle.

We don’t have any negative feedback on this house.

Rustic and comfortable beds with a lovely rooftop terrace which is a great place to have breakfast (or any meal) with a view over the city. The owner is knowledgeable about the local area, and there are quick bus links to the city (it's not a walkable distance for going to town but busses are quite regular) .

The pool was not clean while we were there - the water was brownish green. The only reason we booked this place was so we could use the pool and enjoy the view in peace after running a marathon there, but couldn't actually use the pool so that was disappointing. We could have booked somewhere cheaper with a sea view without a pool closer to the city centre. Also it wasn't totally clear on the description but the pool area is communal - there are a few other apartments using the same area. The apartment we stayed in had no view from inside either so be careful what you book.
