An ok stay

The studio is super comfy, with plenty of storage and everything you need for self catering. It's also really cosy. We were able to check out a bit later in order to meet our transfer bus which was nice. There's a lovely takeaway pizza place not far from the chalet and the lady running it is super friendly. Essert Romand is a beautiful little village about 10 mins out of morzine. There are loads of walks, the village is very quiet and peaceful. A taxi from morzine town is around 20euros but beware that these need to be booked well in advance as there is not a lot of availability.

Not enough hot water - the shower ran ice cold before I'd finished. The people in the apartment above were apparently "locked out" by the host and unable to contact anyone so banging on our door, peering into our apartment and shining torches on us in the middle of the night. Not ideal when you've been up since 3am on an early flight over. Hosts didn't respond to my messages before we travelled asking about local buses etc. Of course they're not obliged to do so, but it would have made my planning a lot easier. For anyone wondering, there are about 4/5 buses into morzine - the first at 7.55am and last at around 5.30. to return from morzine you can get the 4.44pm or 6.13pm line 1. It costs 1euro 50 per ticket and cash only on the bus. The bus stop is by the church about 3 mins walk from the chalet.

Very cozy little studio, equipped with all that's needed. Super friendly owners! Super comfortable bed :)

Neighbors above can make your stay a hell - we were woken up each day 6-6:30 am by running kids playing ball. The wooden house and not strict enough rules regarding noise can cause bad experience after all. The owners should be more demanding and strict or you won't have a proper rest in the apartment.

Pleasant stay!

The view and surrounding of this place is very nice and comfy. The room is nice decorated as shown in photos. The bed is very comfy as well. Good communication with the host that I can easily get the key. I have a pleasant stay and I am glad that I choose this studio!

Propreté très moyenne. Toile d'araignée dans la douche et dans la pièce principale. Robinet cuisine non fixé. Barre de seuil salle d'eau à refixer. Ouverture frigo à revoir. Manque 1 placard rangement en général. Pas de balai pour le quotidien.
