I had a lovely stay at Enderun Hotel Istanbul with my daughter. We truly enjoyed our time there — the hotel has a charming boutique feel and a very welcoming atmosphere. The location is excellent, very close to many attractions and easy to get around. It was a bit difficult to find at first, but that’s quite common with boutique hotels in Istanbul. The staff were wonderful — friendly, helpful, and always ready to assist, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Overall, a great experience and I would happily stay here again.

This place looks lovely on Google but sadly fell short of expectations. The room smells dusty and damp, there are bugs on the sheets, decor is aged, the lamp and some of the electrical sockets do not work, the ‘free water’ is one small bottle (for a couple!) the images promising jacuzzi, Hammam and sauna as free facilities are misleading as these are out of order. Breakfast was decent enough but the garden area is in a neglected state and staff are disinterested.

Hotel Review I recently stayed at this hotel, and while the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, my overall experience was mixed. Upon arrival, I was warmly welcomed, and throughout my stay, the staff were attentive and quick to assist with any requests. However, I encountered a major issue with a strong sewer smell in the bathroom. The odor was so overwhelming that I couldn’t sleep on my first night. In the early morning, I requested a room change, and to the hotel’s credit, they handled my request very quickly and efficiently. Unfortunately, as someone with asthma, this issue made my stay quite uncomfortable, and I wouldn’t recommend it to others unless the hotel resolves the problem. Additionally, breakfast was quite bland for my taste, and I noticed that the cutlery (spoon, fork, and knife) could have been better protected from dust. These small details can make a big difference in the overall experience. If the hotel addresses the sewer smell and improves breakfast quality, it could be a much better place to stay. Until then, I would advise potential guests, especially those with respiratory sensitivities, to be cautious.
