HIGH TIDE - SANTA LUZIA

Very easy check in. We arrived after 9.00pm but had no problem accessing the apartment. The apartment had everything you needed for a long or short stay. Although perhaps a user manual for using TV air con etc would be useful. We ate out most of our stay as so many lovely restaurants in Santa Luzia and Taveria

The property proved ideal as a base for a mid-winter break from the Dutch winter. Although very close to the city of Tavira, Santa Luzia offers many facilities (and has many very good restaurants) so that we spent much less time in Tavira than we had first planned. The apartment is large and very well equipped and we were always happy to return if we had been out for the day.

Apartamento bem equipado, espaçoso, com sol e fácil acesso à piscina com água a boa temperatura. 10 minutos a pé bastam para apanhar o ferry para a praia. Tranquilo, acolhedor e bem localizado. Recomendo.

We were visiting Santa Luzia for our friends wedding. The owner was most helpful and very prompt in responding to my initial enquiry. The apartment was very reasonably priced and looked fabulous so we chose this one over a selection of others.We arrived near midnight but this was5 a problem. The owner had given us details of who to contact on arrival at the airport and someone was there to meet us when we reached the apartment.First impressions were excellent. We were left a bottle of wine, water and a box of chocolates as a welcome gift, which was a lovely gesture.It is a very spacious apartment and is fully equipped with all you could need. The bedrooms are a good size and very comfortable with plenty of wardrobe space. There is plenty of spare bedding in case it is cooler but it was warm enough for what the bed was made up with.The bathrooms had powerful showers and plenty of hot water. There are plenty of towels provided also.Everything was clean and tidy. There was nothing that we needed that was not provided. Outside there is a lovely terrace and BBQ area. The pool is clean and it was not at all busy. The gardens are well tended and we barely saw anyone else let alone heard them, although there were plenty of other apartments occupied. The location is perfect. You can walk to the restaurants and bars in five minutes. Brunos tapas bar and the cafe and restaurant in the square are all highly recommended. The supermarket is well stocked with everything you need but, as everything us so cheap, you only really need the basics. We will be returning. The apartment was perfect for our needs - a real home from home. Thank you, Miguel, for being so accommodating.
