Lovely hotel for a good price

The room was comfortable. The pool and bar are very clean and welcoming. We enjoyed having breakfast or evening drinks there. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful.

Slight sewage smell from the bathroom when windows are closed. This is not unique to this hotel, however.

Perfect Stay.

Phivos Hotel is the perfect base for a great stay at Paleokastritsa. Rooms are spacious, comfortable, and very clean. Staff are friendly and helpful with Stathis at the helm and available to help wherever possible. Lovely setting and grounds, perfect pool area, and poolside bar. Highly recommend this for a perfect stay. We will certainly be returning. Thanks to all for helping make our holiday perfect.

A piece of heaven in the middle of green and blue

The hotel is family owned. Located between valleys and valleys of green and walking distance from the beach, it’s really a small piece of heaven. The tranquility of the mountains in the morning sun is something else. The members of the family who owns this hotel, Stathis and Anthimos, are really friendly, great people and incredible hosts! They welcomed us so warmly and gave us a lot of tips for our stay. We would book again if we wanted to visit Corfu again, which we will.

Stathis and his lovely team go above and beyond to make your stay perfect. We couldn’t have asked for a better trip, and didn’t want to leave! Thank you for everything, can’t wait to come back.

Excellent setting, beautiful views and great atmosphere. Everyone was really friendly and helpful. The pool and bar were inviting and fun. A brilliant place to stay, within manageable walking distance of the town centre.

The beds were rather firm for us.

Lovely place with great staff, highly recommend considering the value for money

Expectations weren’t too high as the hotel is rated as 1 star however upon arrival I have to say that I was shocked by this rating. The site is small but it is very clean, efficient, relaxing and every single staff member was very helpful and kind to us during our stay

This is not the hotels fault but the bus stop that takes you down to Paleokastritska was not very reliable and we were often waiting between 45-60 minutes for the bus to arrive

We would return. Had a lovely stay

This is a lovely hotel. Only about 16-20 apartments but really nicely done. A lovely pool area and bar. The staff have made a real effort to give their guests an excellent experience. Everything felt fresh and new. Air con worked. Beds were comfortable. The view of the mountains was pretty cool.

It is quite far from the main beach in Paleokastritsa but we got taxis there for 10 euros, which the owner at the hotel helped us to organise. The road into the main centre gets so busy (nothing to do with the hotel and the same for any place not right at the main beach).

Incredible hotel with AMAZING views - so much better than it looks online!!

I absolutely loved my stay at Phivos Hotel. It completely exceeded my expectations — honestly, it’s so much better than it looks on Booking.com or Google Maps! The staff were fabulous — warm, welcoming, and always happy to help. The location was perfect for me: just a 20-minute walk to the main restaurants and shops, which meant the hotel was peaceful, quiet, and super relaxing. The view from the balcony was out of this world. I sat there every morning just soaking it in — a perfect start to the day. The balcony was big enough for me to do my Pilates every morning, which was a huge bonus! The pool area was gorgeous, with comfy loungers and a lovely bar where you can happily spend the whole day. My room was spotless and didn’t feel too small at all. It was cleaned daily, which was such a treat, and the little kitchen space was great — we cooked breakfast every morning with ease. Honestly, I can't recommend Phivos enough. If you're thinking about booking it — just do it. It’s a hidden gem!

A relaxing place to stay with wonderful staff and lovely mountain view

Stayed here many times. The staff are excellent, Stathis, Anthimos, Pauli, and new staff this year Yianni and Spiros, not forgetting Rosa the cleaner. They are all so friendly and helpful. The bar area is so nice, right by the lovely pool. The rooms are comfortable and always spotlessly clean.

It’s run by a lovely Greek family and they make you feel very welcome and are great fun,there are Taverna’s locally and a nice bakery just across the road.The rooms are basic but comfortable with everything you need including aircon

Relaxed and beautiful Greek home from home

I loved everything. Such a relaxed, friendly and welcoming atmosphere. All the facilities were fairly simple but done to a high standard. The rooms, pool area, bar and gardens were all extremely clean and well maintained and far exceeded my expectations for the price. Location is great - good local store, restaurants and bakery within a few steps. And wonderful beaches and beautiful viewpoints are within a 15 minute walk too. Honestly, I’m going to miss this place so much that I will have to return asap. Everyone that runs the place should be proud.

Great little place but ...

Staff were lovely and nice setting

Unfortunately when we stayed there were a few Brits who put towels on sunbeds at the crack of dawn and hell to pay if you got on one of the beds they deemed theirs. Made it very uncomfortable

We both love the Phivos Hotel, you have everything you need on site and you get the most amazing welcome from Stathis, A

This was our 3rd time at the Phivos Hotel and we will be returning again next year. The rooms have been upgraded again from last year, they have patio doors and a mosquito screen so you can leave them open all day and night if you want. The furniture around the pool and in the bar has all been renewed and looks lovely and is also very comfy. The rooms are cleaned every day and towels changed every two days, there is also a new fridge in the room as well. We feel like we are staying with family because that’s how you are made to feel, the owners and staff are wonderful and nothing is too much trouble.

Everything was really good. Facilities are modern, updated and well kept. Newly renovated rooms. Breakfast plentiful and well tasting for 8 Eu.

Close to the road, which is ok but a noise barrier would have been great lika a brick wall or paling.

Very good hotel for the price

Nice pool, good location, nice bar at the pool! There are enough sunbeds at the pool. There is a very nice coffee place just outside of the hotel. Apartment was cleaned every day, very welcoming host, around 10 minutes to one of the most beautiful beaches in Paleokastritsa. I was pleasantly surprised, this is a very good hotel for the price.

Please note that if you are very sensitive to sound it might get a little loud at the evenings from the bar till like 00:00 - just people laughing, talking no music though. Also rooms are not really well soundproofed, however it was not a big problem for me.

Exceptional but it’s what I’ve come to expect from the Family and staff running the Phivos.

Everything. Family run hotel, they go above and beyond for their guests. Nothing is too much trouble. Great fun too. Stathis and Anthimos are a credit to their parents and doing a great job of running the hotel.

This location & accommodation was absolutely perfect for us! Location is great for visiting both north & south of Corfu! Parking available on site which was great as we had hired a car for the week! Staff are so helpful with everything from extra towels to places of recommendation! Will definitely be back again!

Hidden Gem

All the staff was really friendly and helpful, it's a family business and you can tell that they are passionate about what they do. Our room was recently remodelled and the bathroom's shower quality was especially good, the room itself has everything you could need (hair dryer, small stove and fridge, etc). Overall, we are really happy we got to stay there, everything was perfect.

the location is quite and convinient. there are only smaill supermarkets in this area and one is just 100 meter away from the hotel. The daily cleaning is superb! the room is not big but lovely. I love the balcony.

first of all the staff is super friendly and welcoming. the location is near bike rentals, supermarkets, amazing restaurants and beaches. the rooms were clean and tidy. Pool is clean as well and you get really good value for the price. no cons at all.

They had air-conditioning which is a major plus point especially for a very cheap hotel. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful.
