The location
We were on the top floor (9) and the lifts were not working for the duration of our stay

Revisited the Britannia for the first time in about 15 years on this trip! Location is unbeatable really - very easy walk from the train station and many city centre attractions walkable in minutes (Hippodrome, Chinatown, Birmingham Art Gallery, Library, Bull Ring etc). Rooms generally big and airey - they are a little dated now and bathrooms could do with a refresh, but overall was clean and comfy and staff were great. Thought good value for money and felt very secure.
Bathrooms (a bit dated but very clean). Also most views are not great and some rooms don't have a window, so check when booking if this is important to you.

Lovely staff fantastic location
Great room very clean
1 lift broken the first day so very long waits then the second lift broke that evening so had to use the stairs, 6 floors with a 14 month old baby was brutal
