I would 1000% stay here again on my future visits! Miguel and his wife were amazing hosts from start to finish and the residence was really cozy, clean and quiet. Miguel met us upon arrival to show us the residence. Then to our surprise, there was already some welcome port, a loaf of bread, some jams, cereal, the best orange juice ever, milk and water. This is more than what you can expect from any place already! Miguel and his wife also showed us what to do and where to go. They have this pretty nifty QR code that you scan and it opens into their app that they customized for their guests. They also have another QR code that opens up into a very helpful google map list of restaurants, cafes, groceries around Ruby Charms which was EXTREMELY helpful because we found our favorite restaurant our entire trip through here! I just love how quiet and how nice the neighborhood was and it was only a quick walk to the station. What set this place apart from anywhere else that we stayed was really Miguel and his wife. He even said that even if we don't stay with them next time, that we should reach out to him so we can grab coffee. This is very true to the local Porto spirit!

Very very minor but the shower is a little small but all the good things about this place, this is so negligible.

I simply loved everything about this accomodation and the owners. The owner welcomed me at the entrance of the guesthouse and then gave me a tour of the inner courtyard and the mini apartment. The courtyard is wonderful — a true oasis of peace and greenery. The apartment is decorated in a very original style, it is clean, and equipped with absolutely everything you might need, including cooking utensils. I was welcomed with Porto wine and a variety of delicious snacks. The owners gave lots of details about what to visit. The location is about a 15-minute walk from the historic city center.

I didn't like the fact that I had to leave. 😂

Everything was absolutely fantastic! The location was awesome, the apartment was wonderful. It had everything we needed and more.Miguel had made sure that it was well stocked. The port, orange juice, water, bread, jam and other goodies were very welcome. We would absolutely stay here again if we come to Porto. Loved it, and loved Porto!!
