I stayed here as I was competing in a boxing tournament at the University.
The apartment was spotless, as was the building in general, which had a very calming ambience. There was actually a beautiful smell throughout the building that I never figured out so if it was a certain type of air freshener or diffuser I would love to know what it was 😂 the TV was massive, the sofa and the bed were both very comfy, I was well stocked with kitchen equipment to cook my own food as well as coffee pods and drinking water.
Location wise it was perfect for exploring Porto and not far in a taxi to/from the airport, it was 10 minute walk from a very vibrant Santa Catarina shopping area which had all the big brand shops you need as well as a supermarket, as well as plenty of off licenses and gift shops on the way. The old town/river was another 10 minutes from there, which was a really pleasant walk past the cathedral and down the steps.
The staff were all incredibly friendly, I was especially grateful for the lady at reception on my final day who let me use the facilities after check out until my taxi arrived.
Thankyou to all the staff for a very pleasant stay, I hope to return next year!
The only thing I would be mindful of is how busy the area gets in peak times if you are booking an Uber with time pressure. Sound proofing could also be an issue if you are used to living remotely, but I can't say it was an inconvenience.

The staff were excellent.. Very polite and very friendly which is always a bonus... The property itself was spotless and very spacious. Two bathrooms was also a bonus.
Didn't affect our stay but in my opinion the property (can only comment on room 301) is not suitable for a family with young children... The apartment is split over two levels. The top floor has a banister rail to prevent people falling but the staircase is open (very open) other than the handrail (no glass). This would not be allowed in the UK..
If I'm honest this also concerns me with regard to older people who may have had too much to drink.. One trip and it could be fatal !
