Nice stay in Geneva

Hotel was nice and clean, SPA was nice, staff was friendly and breakfast was ok. Location is incredibly convenient!

The rooms are indeed very small, especially for the price. I was fine because I was alone but it would have been tricky for a couple to stay in that room. The lift is tiny but it only affects you when you have suitcases. As other reviews mention, the street and its cast of characters have a bit of a dodgy vibe, but in the end it's normal when you're near a station and I felt completely safe anyway. Lastly, the SPA is really nice but it was very crowded on the weekend. Gym area is a bit useless and the threadmill is barely usable (needs replacing/repairing). Breakfast is ok, nothing to write home about but good enough for me :)

Very fresh and convenient hotel in lively part of town.

The location is good and the facilities seem very new. Staff and other guests were quiet and relaxed. Self-service hot drinks; a mug for tea; even teapots at breakfast for us Brits made it a great home-from-home. The spa is small but a pretty special feature in this price and location.

Only surprise was that the toilet, shower, basin all open into the room. This was fine for 1 person, but the facilities would be tight/lacking privacy for two people. e.g. there's no room to hang two bath towels or two bath robes. Likewise hanging/clothes space would be tight. Street outside was very noisy one night due to a heated argument. Not everyone would like to be so close to the red light district.

Great location

Location is really good. Local to all places we wanted to visit with out using any transport. Hotels us very clean welcoming. Room sizes are on a small side but clean and quiet. Bfast was average small selection of items. Pool area was very good with warm swimming pool and jacuzzi. However the sauna was not always on. Overall we had pleasant stay .

Room was not family as booked- it was connected room. My room was after smoking cigarettes. Strong smell. Room was ready at 17-00 only!!! Without any reasonable explanation. Too small facilities inside. Pour breakfast.

Practical and near the station

Proximity to the station and you can walk nearly everywhere in the central Geneva. Ideal for travellers exploring town for couple of days. The room itself was a good size and heating worked fine during the cold days.

1) The lift broken on Friday and I stayed till Monday having to go up to the 5th floor. I understand that they could not find someone to repair over the weekend and I noticed people working on Monday morning. However, the let down was not to make any kind of gesture to the clients. A complimentary bottle of water, or some fruits in the room or even a cost free "I am sorry note". People going up and down with luggage and the only lift not working. The last chance at the check-out not even asking if everything was fine or "I am sorry for the inconvenience". I was surprised because it is in Switzerland the base of the best hotel schools in the world. 2) The room was clean but the social areas were a bit dirty including the lift. 3) The door of the shower was totally loose and somehow it could not close properly and perhaps at danger to fall at someone else. It seems the lack of care or a bit of maintenance in general 4) Removing the key card from the door means also cutting pit the electricity of the mini bar. I had something that I want to keep it cool and it did not do the job 5) Breakfast was the same everyday; not much variety and somedays it was not ready at the opening time. 6) The treadmill stops every 20 min and reduce the speed and shuttle down completely at 24 min mark. I have addressed to the reception and they seemed surprised but ZERO action was taken after my complaint nor any follow-up has been done to inform me the resolution nor to change any configuration. If this is to help rotate people, it is fine and it should have been explained. But not a word has been said and the configuration persisted and I had to "re-start"the machine every 24 min during all days I was trying to run. 7) At the check-out a bit more courtesy would be nice instead of a ...."it's paid and it's all good".

Smart hotel foyer area. Room had a lovely comfy bed. Super room facilities (apart from lack of shower privacy) with robes and slippers.

Weird see-through shower area which was very odd for mother/teenage daughter sharing the room. Slightly dodgy area nearby with loitering and adult bars on walk home in the evening.

Lovely staff, good value, nice cosy room, had microwave which was great, lovely shower. Had a pool and sauna but just way too small for the amount of people. Location was good as it was close to lake and central area

The carpet in room is a horrible material and is very dirty- needs replacing. Room is crammed so not suitable if you have bigger suitcase and staying for longer than a night or two. The robes and slippers were at an extra charge which is strange.

The service when i arrived the. receptionist angie was very very rude to me, she ignored me a few times ,even turned her. back at me just because i asked how much the price. was in pounds i felt like she look down at me for being afrikan. All the rest of the team were nice , helpful and polite. Because of her unfortunately i wont return to the hotel, next time i visit geneve.

Breakfast is good and the hotel is located close to the train/bus station. There are many restaurants close to the hotel. The spa area is very nice.

Wrong WiFi code given by scanning in room after receptionist failed to tell us code on checking-in. Swiss plug sockets and no adapter at reception, as it was a Sunday we could not buy one. Carpet not comfy on feet. Noise in street outside. Area around immediate hotel vicinity populated by 10 or so ladies of the night sat on stools and their presumably suspect looking minders patrolling the street. Could be intimidating for some visitors.

Nice enough, in need of minor renovation, not a very nice street

Friendly staff, nice lobby area, helpful advice from the staff and ability to store the luggage for the day. The pool and sauna were nice to use first thing in the morning, nice that there were plenty of towels and robes for this. The room wasn't great but I liked the bedding which felt very comfortable and clean.

The room itself could have done with some renovations - cracked and yucky floors. The shower and toilet were like tiny 1x1m cabins within the room itself, and the shower had a funky mould smell. The rooms were very noisy - I could hear the upstairs person take a shower, the couple next to me laughing and the girl opposite in the hallway talking loudly on the phone. Luckily I brought earplugs, otherwise I would not have fallen asleep. The street noise was also very loud, even at 7-8am there were people at the bar across the street loudly talking and arguing, drinking and smoking even into the late morning. I did not like the street that the hotel was on, it felt really dodgy and unsafe with this bar and then also not nice looking shops. It's not the fault of the hotel of course, and I felt well looked after and safe within the hotel, but the street and the people on it made me feel uncomfortable.

Very nice hotel for business or pleasure with plenty of restaurant choices nearby.

The location is very central although not in the best area of Geneva but that makes it good place to be. There is more character. Close to train station and lake. The hotel is very nicely done and the rooms well appointed. The pool and jacuzzi are what makes this hotel and sets it apart from the others in the area.

The doors to the rooms close very loudly. The self closures are too strong and each time someone enters or leaves a room the doors slam shut.

Nice little hotel. The rooms are nice and clean and the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. Good breakfast which started early enough for me to enjoy before work.

The rooms are tiny (though well appointed) with the shower in the room itself. Fine as I was traveling alone but might’ve been a bit uncomfortable otherwise. The hotel is well located but the street it’s on felt a bit sketchy at times as a lone woman.

Good hotel but in dodgy area.

Central locations and close to transport links. Breakfast staff member very friendly and helpful. Spa and pool facilities were lovely. Very comfy bed.

Hotel is in the red light district which meant drug dealers/gangs as well as prostitutes on the street. Air conditioning didn’t work and we did report it to reception. Smell from shower drain unpleasant but went away when water running.

Nice, contemporary designed Room

I received an upgrade to a Junior Suite. The room was very well and thoughtful designed. The warm materials, wood and copper, create a modern yet cozy atmosphere. The location is close to the lake and the main station.
