Zurabashvili Guest House

Lovely guesthouse in the city of love with an amazing view of the valley. It was really nice to sit on the swinging chair on the balcony and read in the afternoons when it was hot. Anna, the owner, was kind and gracious. Her husband’s family makes good wine and they had it available to taste and buy; the breakfast was delicious and plentiful.

It’s definitely a bit of a climb to get anywhere and Google Maps had a hard time - didn’t show that the side streets connected to the main streets, so my taxi got confused and had a hard time getting me there.

Good place, easy to find. Short distance to everything.

Mattress was a bit on a harder side, not a big deal though.

The place is very nice with beautiful views. The internet worked very well, which is not always common in Georgia.

On the downside, although it’s not far from the center, the steep hills make it less convenient to reach. In addition, it was difficult to meet with the host, and communication was challenging since she didn’t speak English

This guest house is in the centre of Sighnaghi and has a lovely balcony with comfy chairs, a table for dining and amazing views over the valley. The kitchen had everything you might need, beds are comfortable, and each room has a separate lock.

The bathroom facilities are not great - the en suite shower did not drain, and the main shower had a large crack and hole in its floor, barely covered by a little bath mat. Also, the host charged us double a regular price for breakfast (more than we paid for the flat itself!) and seemed to always be around the flat, which meant shared areas such as the balcony were a bit more difficult to enjoy. Although perhaps her intentions were good, it felt pressuring - just so other visitors are aware.
