No air conditioning - sleeping upstairs in the bedroom was not possible.

This is an extraordinary property, stunningly beautiful location, perfect for a romantic getaway / retreat. Exquisite old-world stone house w/ beautiful and artistic interior design. Multiple terraces, verandas with sea view.

The villa was lovely, very quiet with views of the mountains that were breathtaking. We had a choice of terraces to eat/watch the bat show each dusk and were visited by a variety of animals, we also were close to a Rosa the donkey. It was all in all a slice of mallorca we wouldn't normally get to experience.

There was nothing we didn't like apart from a slight difficulty with taxis if we wanted to travel to and from port de soller (beach) due to the location of the villa - the villa doesn't have a pool. We were happy to stay around the villa much of the time but some people might feel isolated without a hired car. BUT on the other hand the location was beautiful!

The Location was beautiful, very quiet as it is very remote. There is a view but only if the weather cooperates. It has a modern inside finish but details are missing to make this an ideal place. Like a leaky dishwasher and shower. Has a washing machine, but it would be nice if there were English instructions and some laundry soap. Has a line drying rack, which we set up inside as the weather was not great. It also had a fan to cool the sleeping area upstairs. It does have that remote Finca feel and look, if that is what you are looking for. The neighboring donkey and cat add to the feel.

The bed is extremely, extremely hard, I would suggest a pillow top mattress or at least a thick memory foam on top. A few extra pillows to choose from as well. Only one set of linens and towels, therefore the towels were never fully dry. A couple of towel rods to hang towels from would have helped. Due to remoteness cell phone reception is terrible and therefore very limited INTERNET via the phone. Get a SIM card or you have nothing. NO BASIC food items or supplies. Please supply Salt and pepper, oil, a sharp knife, a couple of quality wine glasses and a bit more dish soap. The shower is not sealed properly and leaks from the bottom and the dishwasher had a puddle on the floor after use as well. Bathroom sink leaks too after filling the sink with water and draining it. Don't plan to cook more than breakfast here as it is only set up to sleep. No English channels or subtitles for the TV. Paid an extra charge for wood, which is not available and you would not use it in the summer or fall anyway.
