Very good

Roberto the host was very kind. They’ve made a fantastic breakfast with a nice atmosphere. Rooms were good and practical. Villa Gini is very well located. Its a near walk to the central station. I absolutly recommend to choose Villa Gini if you come Pisa :)

Just a little bit noisy in the night ( cars) but ist not a big problem, and perhaps was just only our rooms problem which faces on the street.

Perfect in every way

The period location was fantastic as was Roberto. The central location was perfect to allow walking to every attraction.

Unfortunately it rained for the year the day before we arrived so the city’s water table was affected so a bad smell arround. Nobodies fault just unfortunate.

A good introduction to Italy and Pisa. We would love to return !!!

Beautiful Italian building, with a real feeling of history and culture. We loved the view of the garden from the terrace at breakfast time. We much enjoyed our breakfast and thanks to Roberto, who helped us with our Italian!

Short and sweet stay

We had only a quick one night stay before flying home from Pisa and had chosen mainly on location/convenience. However it was a lovely surprise to stay in such a lovely traditional and characterful property and with such a perfect host. The breakfast was small but perfect (delicious products from family farms and homemade items). Roberto arranged us a taxi to the airport and was so friendly even though we were passing through for only one day. It shows he cares for every guest - thank you!

I was a bit worried about soundproofing of the room but actually it was fine.

Poor customer service.

10 minutes walk from the station.

We booked the property as it advertised an airport shuttle. We asked to book the shuttle but the owners told to use public transport or a taxi. We then explained that as there was a national train strike the day we were travelling to the airport that was why we wanted to book the shuttle. They then said book a taxi quickly as taxis would be in demand! The rooms are much smaller than they appear in the photographs and there was a drains smell in our very small bathroom. The description implies tea/coffee making in the room, but there is just one electric kettle downstairs in the breakfast room.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and felt very safe eating gluten free food.

Roberto is an excellent host and was particularly helpful providing me with a gluten free breakfast. He provided us with plenty of information even before our arrival and made sure we had everything we needed . We would definitely stay there again and would recommend it to anyone. The location is ideal for seeing the sights and easy access to the airport.

I think I misread the information and thought there was tea / coffee in the room. This was not a problem though as Roberto made us coffee as soon as we went downstairs.

Warm welcome in a super B and B

This was our second fantastic stay at Villa Gini. Once again, we received a very warm welcome from Roberto. Our room was comfortable and spotlessly clean and breakfast was delicious. Roberto helped us to organise a taxi to the airport and shared lots of helpful information about visiting the city. We were also able to leave our bags while we were out sightseeing which was very helpful. If in Pisa again, I would definitely return. Highly recommended.

Beautiful home, exceptional hospitality

Beautiful, characterful villa that felt more like staying with family. Gorgeous rooms, very comfy beds and excellent breakfast located 5-7 mins walk from the station and 25 mins from the leaning tower. A super convenient base for the airport (€11 5 min drive taxi ride away), trains to Lucca (25 min train), Florence (1 hour train) and La Spezia (1 hour 15 mins train). The family that own and run the villa are the loveliest, most kind & friendly we’ve ever encountered - we can’t wait to return one day :)

Lovely, boutique property in Pisa

Villa Gini is a lovely family owned property in Pisa, perfect for a short visit. I stayed for two nights when working nearby and it was very comfortable, convenient for all transport options and felt like staying at someone’s very beautiful home. The breakfast is incredible - don’t miss it!

Beautiful family run villa in Pisa

It is a beautiful family run properly, very comfortable with an excellent breakfast. The kids enjoyed exploring the garden and finding the tortoise! Roberto is so friendly and helpful, we couldn't have asked for more. It is also not far from the station and a nice walk into the central tourist area where the leaning tower is located. We would certainly stay again. Roberto was also very communicative, giving us clear instructions for accessing the property in advance of our stay.

Beautiful Italian villa in a great location for Pisa with very welcoming staff!

Roberto was very welcoming and helpful during our very short stay after a late flight and arrival to the city. Lovely locally sourced produce at breakfast and even pancakes for the kids !

The separate bathroom was a little bit inconvenient but not an issue for a short stay and understandable with such an old building.

Perfect stay!

Roberto was the friendliest host I have ever met. We only stayed 1 night at Vila Gini, before we left to Umbria, but I would definitely like to come back! The late check-in was easy with the instructions we received. The rooms were spacious, clean and fresh.The beds were very comfortable. The breakfast in the morning was extensive and delicious! We could enjoy the garden from the balcony. And our youngest son wondered how Roberto knew exactly what he liked. He asked if we were not going to stay here for the entire holiday. Roberto also gave us a map of the city with some tips to visit and we could leave our luggage after check-out time and pick it up later. In short, Vila Gini was perfect!

Perfect spot for exploring Pisa

The location was great, in easy walking distance of the attractions and restaurants as well as the station. Roberto was the perfect host, just the right level of attentiveness, very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was very good, and the cappuccino exceptional. Self check in made the whole stay relaxed/ stress free. I would recommend to anybody looking to stay in Pisa.

Comfy accommodation, perfect location, fantastic hosts

Very hospitable hosts, gave us useful tips and great coffee. Good and quiet location, 15mins' slow walk to the Tower and 10mins' to the train station. Very comfortable beds and pillows! Great breakfast! I cannot thank Roberto and the hosts enough for being so accommodating, really appreciate that!

Lovely little hotel with charm and personalised service

Wonderful little place with a good location. Roberto was the most attentive host and the breakfast was great with local products and freshly made coffee of your choice. I enjoyed sitting outside on the little terrace in the calm of the garden with palm and citrus trees. The house is old and has so much charm and athmosphere and the pictures online do not do it justice. Located in an area that is not touristed at all but within walking distance of the railway station and the city centre. Will definitely go there again!

Best place to stay in Pisa

Really loved the stay in this 100+ years old building which is still maintained well with a superb backyard. Host Roberto received well, explained us the property, asked our food preferences and made us comfortable. Bus stop in front of the villa

Water from shower nozzles was not proper . It's time to replace. There could have been little more veg options like corn flakes, muesli etc

Charming flat with great hosts

A lovely flat located in a charming, historic building with beautiful high ceilings. The hosts were incredibly warm and welcoming, and they provided fantastic recommendations that really enriched our trip. We enjoyed the breakfast in the garden area. The flat is conveniently close to the train station, though a bit of a walk from the main attractions in Pisa. Everything was clean and tidy, and we appreciated that the flat was refreshed while we were out on our first day. We stayed for two nights and had a wonderful experience overall.

Very friendly and helpful host – he even offered to assist us if we needed anything during our next stop in Bologna. The room was a very good size, clean, and overall great value for money. Just a heads-up for future guests: some rooms don’t have an en-suite bathroom. It’s private, but you need to go out into the hallway to access it. If available, we’d recommend booking a room with an attached bathroom for added convenience. Also nice breakfast
