Casa del Merlo is a large house in the heart of the Tuscan countryside with private garden, swimming pool for exclusive use and private covered parking.
Upon arrival you will be greeted with a small welcome gift.

A beautiful house for exploring the delights of Tuscany

We had a fantastic week at Casa del Merlo. Simonetta was an excellent host and communication was great before and during our stay. We were welcomed with homemade cake and juice and during our stay we were treated to home grown tomatoes and olive oil. The house was perfect for our family with lovely pool and garden for relaxing in. We enjoyed trips to Lucca (10 minutes by car), Pisa, the beach at Marina di Vecchiano and the high wire adventure parc at Pizzorne. We also cycled every day in the beautiful surrounding countryside. Added bonus of a supermarket, pizzeria and local restaurant within walking distance. We wish we could have stayed longer!

Das Landhaus "Casa del merlo" hat uns in jeglicher Hinsicht begeistert: von dem wunderschönen, großen Garten mit reichlich Schatten spendenen Bäumen über den großen Pool für Kinder genauso wie für Erwachsene bis hin zum perfekt eingerichteten Landhaus mit seinen vielen liebevollen Details. Die Lage ist optimal zum Erkunden der Toskana: Lucca mit seiner tollen Altstadt, Pisa mit seinen Sehenswürdigkeiten, Viareggio mit seinem nicht enden wollenden perfekt gepflegten Sandstrand, Massa-Carraras weltberühmte, beindruckende Marmorbrüche oder auch Florenz. All dies war im Umkreis von 70 Kilometern bequem mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Vielen Dank und viele liebe Grüße and die Familie Orsi, die sich sehr liebevoll um all unsere Wünsche und Bedürfnisse gekümmert hat und unseren Aufenthalt zu einem unvergesslichen Erlebnis hat werden lassen. The country house "Casa del merlo" has delighted us in every way: from the beautiful, large garden with plenty of shade donating trees over the large pool for children and adults alike to the perfectly furnished country house with it's many lovely details. The location is ideal for exploring Tuscany: Lucca with it's great old town, Pisa with it's sights, Viareggio with it's never-ending perfectly maintained sandy beach, Massa Carrara's world-famous, impressive marble quarries or even Florence. All of this was within easy driving distance of 70 kilometers. Many thanks and many greetings to the Orsi family, who lovingly took care of all our wishes and needs and made our stay an unforgettable experience.

Grazie alla famiglia Orsi abbiamo trascorso una vacanza meravigliosa! La struttura della casa e del giardino con piscina, vengono curate con molto affetto e amore per il dettaglio. Le camere sono molto comode, confortevole e pulitissime. Non manca assolutamente niente. La signora Simonetta e il signor Angelo sono delle persone molto amabili e simpaticissimi! Ci piacerebbe tornare ogni anno. GRAZIE DI TUTTO!!! Lodging and Surrounding The domicile is a lovely place to stay. We had arrived and wanted to stay forever. Everything is built and maintained by the hosts deliberately and with greatest care. If you want to visit some places in Tuscany this is a good starting point. Lucca, Pisa, Florence, San Gimignano, Pistoia, Volterra - all are accessible by car within 85 minutes. Restaurants and supermarkets are well and quickly reachable either. The hosts We have rarely met such friendly people. Simonetta and Angelo were always very helpful and resolved questions immediately, if needed. We felt like their guests and not just like customers.

La casa è veramente grande con camere ampie e accoglienti, estremamente pulite. Dotatissima sia all'interno che fuori (preziosi il barbecue e il forno a legna) e con un giardino con piscina che in estate deve essere godibilissimo. Ideale per grandi famiglie o comitive come noi. Simonetta e suo marito sono gentili e disponibilissimi; consiglio a tutti la loro casa.

We went a Spanish family goup of 9 people last June. The house is really amazing: the swimming pool for the kids (and adults!), the big garden, the threes and flowers and in top of all this matters: the warm welcome of Simonetta and her family. You feel their hospitality in each minor detail (thanks for the drinks and coffee) This house is a must for any group visiting Tuscany....We really enjoyed our stay there. Tout était parfait pour notre séjour de 15 jours. Grande maison confortable (nous étions 8 et il restait de la place). Rien ne manquait dans la maison. Le jardin est ensoleilé ou ombragé en fonction de ce que l'on recherche et très agréable, piscine bienvenue pour se raffraichir et s'amuser en famille. L'endroit est calme. Belles promenades à faire. 4 vélos étaient à notre disposition pour se promener. Sabine et Frédéric et les enfants Simonetta et Angelo feront tout pour que votre séjour soit agréable (Gracie mille Simonetta e Angelo). Ils sont très charmants. Vous pouvez louer cette maison les yeux fermés

Abbiamo passato una bellissima settimana in questa casa più che invitante. Da menzionare è per prima il gradevole contatto con i proprietari/locatori Simonetta ed Angelo che sono gentilissimi e per niente complicati. Inoltre siamo rimasti molto soddisfatti del rapporto "qualità/prezzo"! A noi non è mancato proprio nulla. Abbiamo specialmente apprezzato le comodissime attrezzature come: - il grande giardino e la piscina spaziosa e rilassante - barbecue nel giardino - sedie sdraio di qualità e comodità - WiFi gratuito (anche nel giardino!) con collegamento perfetto - i tre bagni e le 4 stanze da letto - cucina moderna e completamente arredata con 4 piastre, lavastoviglie, grande frigo, congelatore ecc. - il posto per l'auto Inoltre era comodo fare la spesa dal fatto che un grandissimo supermercato si trova a ca. 5 - 6 minuti di macchina. La casa si trova in un posto molto tranquillo dove ci si può rilassarsi perfettamente. Possiamo consigliare la casa del merlo al 100% per chi ama avere un standard ricco, gradevolezza, silenzio ed ambito privato.

L'alloggio è bellissimo e l'arredamento è molto ricercato ed elegante. La casa offre tutte le comodità: posteggio al coperto, giardino enorme, vasca idromassaggio, salotto esterno ed interno. E' disposta su tre piani; gli ultimi due per la zona notte. La distanza con la città di Lucca è di 10/15 min con la macchina percorrendo strada statale che, anche in periodo di picco, non è trafficata. La consiglio a chi cerca relax con tutti i confort e anche a chi desidera visitare la splendida città di Lucca.

"nous avons passé une excellente semaine, maison et jardin tres soignés et agréables, nous n''avons manqué de rien, l''ensemble est très bien entretenu et très propre. Les propriétaires sont vraiment charmants et attentifs. (gateau à notre arrivée et bouteille d''huile olive). Nous étions deux familles, nous étions à l''aise à 9 personnes.
