Just 5 km from Lucca, in the splendid Tuscan countryside, the hills covered with olive trees, the splendid rustic half'800 on 3 levels with 8 +2 beds: 2 double bedrooms, 2 double bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, kitchen extremely wide and living room With fireplace. Restored in Lucca style with conservative restoration, has antique furniture. Garden with swimming pool. Satellite TV, washing machine, dishwasher, coffee maker, CD, wifi.
Near the main art cities of Tuscany: Lucca, Pisa, Pistoia, Florence, just 19 km from the beautiful beaches of Versilia, also full of bars, discos, restaurants.
Enjoy a unique holiday, looking for new experiences and then return to Petra House in total peace and make a relaxing swim in the pool surrounded by olive trees with a wonderful view!
For lovers of mountain biking and trekking, we are in the middle of a very nice path.

We had a lovely stay at Villa Petra! The pool and olive tree garden was beautiful and perfect to relax in on the hot summer days. We had plenty of space inside the house, but would like to mention that the upper floors were rather warm in the evenings. We recommend any future visitors to close all windows during the day and open up to air out the space as soon as the sun goes down. Overall, great stay and beautiful area!

Beautiful, traditional Tuscan house. Better in real life than this photographs. Claudia is lovely to deal with and quick to reply to any queries. The 4th bedroom that isn't pictured is on the first floor and furnished with a double bed and is the nicest bedroom in the house. You have to walk through the twin room to get to the upstairs double bedroom with ensuite. Mosquito nets on all of the windows was an added bonus. Kitchen has everything you'll need. The olive garden is very natural with lots of wildflowers and is a haven for bees, butterflies, dragonflies and, at night, fire flies. The pool is 4ft deep and a great size for cooling off after a bit of sunbathing or sightseeing. It now has a paved surround and there are 7 sturdy sun lougers. The outdoor eating area has plenty of space with several tables to choose from and lots of chairs and benches. There is a built in BBQ. The local restaurant La Conca, is only a 10 minute walk down the hill and serves traditional Italian food. Great pasta, pizza and local wine. Very well priced too. Conrad supermarket is a short drive or a 20 minute cycle ride away and is very well stocked. A great base for cycling over the Tuscan mountains. Lucca is a very short drive away. We stayed at the house with a group of friends (8 people) and had a great time! :-) The villa is an old but beautiful house with a lot of space, a nice olive garden and a pool. Everything looks just like in the pictures. The pool was small, but clean and it was nice to just jump in and cool up. We absolutely loved the house and the area! We also appreciated the location of the house: you definitely need a car to go places or to do the shopping. But it's very close to Lucca (about 15 minutes), which is a beautiful town. We also visited Pisa and Florence (longer drive, about 1 hour 15 min). And the beach was about a 30 min drive. We were really surprised that we found a nice little beach spot that was never too crowded. Claudia and Michele were great hosts as well. Michele made sure that everything was fine with the pool (which was well taken care of). They helped us out when we had questions and had some nice advice for restaurants in the area. Thanks a lot for our stay! :-)
