Comfortable house in a good location for exploring, great outside area and lovely hosts.

The hosts were wonderful, so kind and friendly. The house was situated in a great location to go exploring. We spent time in Lucca, Florence and visiting some local vineyards. There was plenty of space for 2 families and we enjoyed the outside area. Mosquitoes were a little annoying, but that’s just the area. We organised a wine tasting at the house recommended by our hosts and it was a fabulous evening, would highly recommend. We would love to come back to Casa del Merlo.

Peaceful home from home

We loved our week in this property (home). Very peaceful with beautiful gardens to sit in. Owners clearly have thought of everything and made a home that is so easy to stay in. There’s sunny areas and shade, sun loungers, outdoor table and chairs, outdoor cooking area. Pool with toys and inflatables. Inside the house, there is so much space - photos don’t do it justice. Large kitchen diner with everything you’d need to cook and live (and all clean and working). Great size table for playing games in the evening. Lovely large lounge area, dining table and sunroom. On the first floor there are 3 large bedrooms and the 2nd floor 2 bedrooms. Great views from the windows. Air conditioning in the rooms. Thanks so much to the owners for creating a property for a fabulous holiday!

Amazing!

Beautiful house, with everything you could wish for, decorated with taste. Large and confortable bedrooms, AC in each bedroom which in a great plus in summer (even though we found sleeping with the windows open was the best way to cool down), fly screen on all windows, the pool, the sun beds, the bbq… everything is there for you to have your best Italian summer. Simonetta and Angelo are perfect hosts, we would have stay another week if we could.

Very nice and helpful hosts. Large bedrooms. Well-functioning clinatization. A pleasant garden with an exclusive swimming pool. Closed area, covered garage space, grill.

A bit uncomfortable layout of bathrooms for 8 people. One belongs to the highest located apartment, another to 3 rooms and only a toilet on the ground floor. A larger or second fridge is needed in the kitchen when the facility is fully staffed. Lots of insects, at least in June.

Everything and more had been catered for. The villa is stunning. Simonetta and her family are wonderful and nothing is too much trouble, even down to the cake that had been freshly baked for our arrival! Can't wait to stay there again soon.

Where to begin!!!!!! The hosts Angelo and Simonetta and their family were the most welcoming hosts we have ever encountered while on vacation. They greeted us upon arrival and returned shortly afterwards with a tray of fresh home made cookies and something to drink and informed us of where local restaurants were and which was the nicest. We encountered a few issues while outside of the property and they went above and beyond the call of duty to help us. Throughout our stay they were a call away if we had any questions or need help. The house itself was fabulous, very spacious, equipped with everything that you could think of or need. The garden was amazing, large and very well maintained as was the pool. I would recommend this place to anyone, as much for the hosts as the property. The hosts made our stay special by the level of care and concern they showed. us. We will definitely be going back next year.

Tolles gepflegtes Haus mit wunderschönem großen Garten, perfekter Ausgangspunkt, um die Toskana zu erkunden.

Wir haben zu viert eine 12-tägige Workation in Casa del Merlo verbracht und das Haus war dafür geradezu perfekt! Im 1. Stock gibt es 3 große Schlafzimmer mit einem Vollbad, im 2. Stock ein kleines Schlafzimmer für eine Person und ein offenes Zimmer mit einem Doppelbett und Schreibtisch sowie ein Duschbad. Zu fünft, was ursprünglich geplant, wäre das mit dem offenen Schlafbereich nicht ideal gewesen wegen der fehlenden Privatsphäre. Je nachdem mit wieviel Leuten und in welcher Konstellation man dort ist, sollte man das wissen. Das Haus an sich ist geräumig, sehr gepflegt und mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Im Erdgeschoss gibt einen großen Wohnbereich, eine große Wohnküche und ein Gäste-WC. Im Gartenhäuschen gibt es eine Waschmaschine. Der Garten ist ein Traum! Der Pool umzäunt, was für Familien mit Kindern ein wichtiges Sicherheits-Feature ist. Die Lage ist optimal, um die Toskana zu erkunden, wir waren jeden Nachmittag und Abend unterwegs. Im nahegelegenen Ort gibt es einen Supermarkt, Apotheke und mehrere Restaurants. Für Bistecca alla Fiorentina sollte man unbedingt in La Casa di Alfredo gehen! Auch die Pizzen sind hervorragend. Die Eigentümer von Casa del Merlo, Simonetta und Andrea wohnen nebenan und sind absolut reizend und die Kommunikation hervorragend. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und kommen bestimmt wieder. 100 %ige Empfehlung!

Tolles Haus mit Platz für mehrere Haushalte :)

Das Haus war wirklich sehr gut ausgestattet und hatte alles was es brauchte. Dazu waren die Vermieter (wohnen direkt nebenan) sehr sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Fantastisk hus!

Huset er bare skønt! Værelserne er gode, alle fungerer, og så er poolen bare virkelig lækker! Værterne er søde og hjælpsomme. Det var alle pengene værd. Vi var 8 voksne og et lille barn, og der var god plads til os alle. Huset kan varmt anbefales!

Tack för att ni gjorde vår vistelse perfekt.

Vi blev så otroligt fint bemötta när vi kom fram till boendet. Värden tog oss runt och visade oss allt vi behövde veta. Allt var perfekt i huset och trädgården var så vacker. Rekommenderar alla att boka detta boende. Finns inget att klaga på allt var toppen.
