About this villa rental
Villa Il Casolare is a complex of 350 m2. It was built in the 18th century and it dominates the hills of Tuscany. It boasts a breathtaking panorama appreciated in every side of the villa, because it is unobstructed on all four sides. The structure was renovated in January 2014 (with Tuscan style), and combines the love for antique Tuscan décor with the most modern comfort and luxury: every detail is intended for the pleasure and relaxation of the client.
The structure, consisting of a main house, an attached house, and a private swimming pool immersed in nature, is located on a hill in a dominating position. It is surrounded 360° by a park of one hectare decorated with cypress trees, fruit trees, olives, and vines. It is located a few kilometres away from Certaldo. This is a privileged location for those who desire relaxing and calm holidays and want to visit the most beautiful city of art in Tuscany.
Main House
Ground floor: access through three different entrances, spacious hallway, reading room/library, living room with fireplace and TV, dining room, independent kitchen with fireplace, small bathroom, and cellar with a selection of wines and oils.
First floor: TV room, 5 bedrooms with en-suite bathroom
Red Suite: bedroom with king size bed, built in wardrobe, desk, and bathroom with shower.
Yellow Room: bedroom with two single beds, wardrobe, chest of drawers, armchair, and bathroom with shower.
Green Suite: bedroom with two single beds, wardrobe, and bathroom with shower.
Blue Suite: bedroom with king size bed, wardrobe, desk, armchair, and bathroom with shower.
Pink Suite: bedroom with king size bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers, and bathroom with shower.
The living room on the first floor is accessed via a magnificent 'Colombaio' staircase that rises along the structure and offers a splendid panoramic view of the Chianti Classico hills.
Attached House
The veranda in front of the house leads to a typical Tuscan barn, in which there is a spacious living room with fireplace and a fully equipped gym, all surrounded by large windows that assure exceptional brightness and a view of the surroundings.
Veranda: attached to the barn, it is a lovely porch with wide arches and offers a breath taking view of the surrounding hills. It is equipped with a large dining table to enjoy fantastic outdoor dining moments.
Swimming pool
It is nestled a few steps away from the house. The pool measures 14 x 7 m. The surrounding solarium is built from handmade bricks typical of the region. It is completed with sun beds, beach chairs, chairs, and umbrellas.

Great accommodations and wonderful hosts. Certaldo was a pleasant surprise and a central location for our Tuscany adventures. Owners were very helpful with house specifics and arranging for serveral amazing restaurants. Saluti!

We spent a lovely week in this beautiful property. Eleonara and Andrea are amazing hosts. I would most certainly recommend them and we would definitely go back.

We were 8 women on an adventure in Italy and this villa could not have been more perfect!! Our host Eleonora met us in Certaldo at the train station and guided us up the hillside to the Villa. The villa is spectacular. Beautifully decorated. The photos do not do this place justice. There was plenty of space for the 8 of us to enjoy time together and also to find a quiet space to be alone and read a book. We were there in mid Sep and the weather was so hot we made good use of the beautiful pool and pool area.The views from the villa were amazing. The property is full of fruit trees and very well maintained. Eleonora is extremely friendly and welcoming and truly is available for your every request. We had her and her mother and aunt come to make us a pizza dinner one night. Again, spectacular. The food was SO good and SO fresh. I would have liked to taken them home to be my private cooks! :) One evening we wanted to go out for a special dinner and not have to worry about driving and Eleonora and her boyfriend (soon to be husband) drove us and picked us up in their vehicles. I would recommend this place very highly and would love to return one day. I honestly cannot say enough wonder things about the villa and the host.Alice
