The property owners were very friendly, however the property did not meet expectation

The property is located centrally and is within easy travel distance to most things It had an excellent laundry and the Wi-Fi was good.

The accommodation was a converted basement with the entry difficult to navigate with large suitcases. There were no TVs in the bedrooms and the TV in the lounge was not connected to an aerial so you had to use your own streaming services. The advertisement for Mekong Star was not accurate for the property.

Property is a clean, value for money property in a good location.

The size of the accommodation, cleanliness and laundry facilities are good

There is no cooking facility located in the kitchenette. The hotplate is located in the laundry and very inconvenient if you want to cook meals. Access to the apartment is a difficult path to the rear of the home and access stairs are difficult with large suitcases.

Too much decoration hiding the property the signage too small

There was a smell coming out of the living room which made it hart for me to stay in there. They tried to hide the smell with an AC unit but it needs sun ☀️

Positive experience overall with a nice landlord and everything we needed.

The apartment was clean, comfortable, and very well equipped with useful facilities like a washing machine, tumble dryer, and dishwasher, which made our stay convenient.

The apartment is located in the basement of the owner’s house.

A great stay in Suburban Vancouver

Mekong Star was secure, comfortable and beautifully quiet. The beds & couches were very comfy. Loved the water filter and other extras. Great location- easy walk to the shops and bus. Host was very helpful with advise to use public transport. Much appreciated the earlier check in. Highly recommend.

Wonderful first stay in Canada 🇨🇦

We didn't expect the apartment to be that huge! Our daughter enjoyed it very much. There is plenty of space. The neighborhood is very quiet and you can hear the birds sing. W We found it great that different shops and bus stops were very close. My favorite part was our host: Such an heartwarming, kind person. We had a very bad first day in Canada with our daughter breaking her arm and he found the nicest words to cheer us up and tried to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Thank you!

Ruhige Unterkunft und tolle Vermieter

Sehr ruhig gelegene Wohnung bei der man aber alles sehr gut erreichen kann. Wir waren zweimal da- zu Beginn und am Ende unserer Reise und würden es immer wieder so buchen. Zu Beginn hat Booking eine Woche vor Anreise die Buchung storniert, aber Mekong Star war super und hatte unsere Buchung weiterhin drin, sodass wir trotzdem hier übernachten konnten. Booking war hier sehr schwach. Kommunikation mit Mekong Star war immer sehr schnell und super.

Niet voor herhaling vatbaar

De lakens van de bedden waren proper en opgemaalt. De badkamer en de ruimte was proper.

Er hing een muffe geur overal. Overal op de grond ligt tapijt, want minder hygiënisch is, en wat de muffe geur verklaart. In het washok waar je binnenkwam hing een vieze geur. Jammer. We kregen een code om binnen te komen, maar hebben de eigenaars zelf nooit gezien.

Top und sehr empfehlenswert

Sehr geräumig und super ausgestattet. Es fehlte nichts. Unkompliziertes, kontaktloses Einchecken. Genügend Parkmöglichkeiten an der Straße vor dem Haus. Sehr ruhige Lage. Supermärkte und Restaurants in der Nähe (aber ohne Auto geht es trotzdem nicht). Wir würden jederzeit wieder dorthin kommen. Sehr angenehme und freundliche Vermieter

Die Unterkunft war nicht wirklich schmutzig, könnte etwas sauberer sein (Spinnweben…). Die Unterkunft war zu Downtown und zur Waterfront doch recht weit weg (aber man kann nicht alles haben, dafür war es wie oben beschrieben sehr ruhig und schön gelegen)
