Bow Street Runner

The room was neat, clean and had everything I needed. Everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful. A huge variety of items for breakfast including, a variety of tea, coffee, 6 types of fruit, yoghurt, croissants and 4 types of cereal! We were spoiled for choice. 2 electric room fans were also provided. A large wardrobe with plenty of hanging space. 6 bedside drawers plus a decent hair dryer. Shower was really good with toiletries if required. Plenty of towels including a make up remover cloth which was a nice touch. Bedside lamps also had a plug for your phone charger - very handy. Check in / out was a breeze. Location was fantastic. Close to the beach (5min walk), lots of coffee shops, restaurants, supermarkets in easy walking distance. Uber from the station was around £9.00 and a short ride, although you could probably walk it in around 25 mins. Would definitely stay again.

Less able bodied guests could have struggled with narrow steep stairs (2 lots), especially if carrying bags. The host, Sue was lovely and offered to carry my case for me. The bath towels were quite small, and more like a large hand towel, but clean & soft - you may need to bring your own towel if you like a larger bath towel.

Landlady and staff. Top floor. Mini fridge always topped up and fresh fruit. Room had everything you needed. Bar downstairs friendliest people

The room is excellent, and the layout of the breakfast within the room is very good

We were greeted by a very friendly member of staff who made us feel very welcome. The bed was really comfortable. A very good shower. especially like the continental breakfast that was left in the room for us.

The room was very small with virtually no space around the bed. The bathroom made a cacophony of noise between the extractor fan and the toilet macerator which sprung into life all the time, plus the brightest light that felt like the opening of a show when used in the middle of the night.
