Beautiful layout & pool area lovely. Loved the day bed. Enjoyed breakfasts

Cleaning was done very late in the day so felt breakfast dishes were out all day. The distance to restaurants eventually got to us - good 10 min walk but surface was not as bad as expected even in the torrential rain

Great service, villa & location

The staff! Every person with was amazing, from the ladies who made our breakfast, the gardeners, cleaners, office staff & security! Nothing was too much trouble! The daily breakfast was a real highlight! The villa was a great size & had everything we needed, as well as being close to everything! Being able to order beers & snacks to be in our villa on arrival was great!

Awesome villa with everything you need for a comfortable, private stay.

The facility is absolutely beautiful and the villas are huge with everything you need including a full kitchen. The private pool and spa makes for a great base, especially if you're going to be staying for a while since it feels more like a home then a hotel. The morning breakfast is prepared by the staff at your personal villa. The staff is super friendly. The owner/manager Trish was extremely helpful when Sanur had flooding and the Villas flooded. She made sure everyone was accomodated with new places to stay and kept in touch as to when the villa was ready again.

Everything would have been perfect except for mother nature, who decided that it was best to bring torrential rain during our visit and flood out the villa. The location is on the lower height side, so it's more prone to flooding than other places. Be aware when planning during the rainy season. The streets to get to the villa are narrow and usually only 1 car can go through at a time. I don't suggest driving your own car to this location. There are not a ton of shops and stores that are right outside the stay like some other more touristy places, but there is a convenience store within walking distance.

Fabulous

Everything was amazing! Staff couldn't do enough for you. The villa was spacious, clean and comfortable. The pool is a lovely size, kids loved it. Set in beautiful gardens and close walk to the main road of shops and restaurants with the beach a few mins further. We loved the walk to the Icon Bali shopping mall along the beach. So pretty. We hired the bikes and cycled in the other direction, stopping at a few hotels and bars along the way.

The size of the villa and pool

Privacy through the garden to other villas. The gardens are absolutely beautiful but no solid walls between villas. We had no neighbors when we stayed so not a problem for us, but you can see through the garden into your neighbors villa.

Amazing!

Love everything about this place! It’s the second time we have been back and it did not disappoint. Our vila was immaculate, the grounds and pool so clean, the staff lovely and helpful and it’s all the little things that make Zen such an amazing place to stay. We will definitely be back for a third visit!

Beautiful, zen holiday

Staff were so lovely and accommodating. They helped arrange airport transfer, massage/spa staff at the villa and even a birthday cake. The pool was so amazing! Very quiet location, surrounded by nature but an easy walk into town and the beach.

Everything was lovely but to take it to the next level, the property facilities could be improved. Eg hairdryer, ironing board, bottle opener weren’t present. There was no mini fridge/toilet downstairs.

Wonderful place to stay for our family of 4

The villa itself was well appointed and clean. The master bedroom only had an outdoor shower and toilet which was used less than the indoor bathroom on the second bedroom - mainly due to not letting in mosquitoes. But both were well looked after and modern. In our villa there was an extra toilet off the kitchen also. Breakfasts were excellent and cooked in the room at your appointed time. Bedrooms were clean. Pool was wonderful and warm. Turn down service was a nice touch. Had our own cold filtered water machine so could fill water bottles with cold water whenever we wanted. Nice and quiet even with other families next door. 24 hour security at the driveway. Only a 5 min walk to the main street of Sanur which had a number of restaurants and shops. Only a NZ$4 gojek to Icon Mall for dinner.

Quiet, peaceful and relaxing

Everything about our stay at Zen Villas was perfect. Great communication on booking and airport pick up etc. Breakfast was cooked in the Villa each, the pool was private, the beds comfortable and a lovely rain shower. The staff were friendly and helpful. As it’s set back 5 mins from the main road - it was so quiet and the 24 hour security made everything feel safe. Never had such a relaxing stay. I will return again and highly recommend.

I’ve seen some comments about the distance to the road - but it’s 5 mins and the staff give you very clear directions the first time never had an issue.

I will be very picky but it is meant to help . No freestanding full mirror for ladies to use while dressing. Both ladies with us complained to us. The water in the hose next to the toilet smells very bad in both rooms. The exhaust fan in main bedroom does not work. Bath towels need to be replaced daily . Perhaps a basket for used towels can be placed in the bathroom. Sometimes used towels placed in a pile to be removed , were left there by cleaning staff, no fresh towels left by staff. Not enough hooks to hang bath towels so they can dry after a shower.

Stayed in the luxury 2 bedroom villa. Very clean, private and quiet. Perfect if you are looking to relax in peace. Friendly and helpful staff. They cook and serve breakfast in the villa and it was always delicious.

It is about 5/10 mins walk to the main road and beach, but can easily call a taxi to come pick you up.

Very relaxing

Wife and I stayed for 7 nights - private pool was wonderful, got a good mix of direct sun and shade, outside cabana offered good shade too. The actual villa was very comfortable, with the air conditioning and fans working a treat. Breakfast was nice, provided by a range of about 7 different choices (selected the day before), which was freshly cooked in your villa at your nominated time preference. All the staff were friendly and helpful. We stayed during the Sept Bali flood, yes the villa grounds got flooded (like very else), but the staff got our private pool clean and swimable a bit over a day after the rains stopped- which was a great effort. Good WIFI. Staff organised on site massages in our villa. Location, about a 15 minute walk (via some back streets) to the beach and 10 to the “main shops. About a 25 minute walk, to $3-4 AUD GRAB ride to the Bali Icon Mall. A few local warungs were 5-10 minutes walk away

Great little villa

The staff were lovely and very helpful. We were there during the floods and decided to spend the day inside. The staff were very accommodating and flexible. Despite being stuck inside all day it was still a lovely experience because of the villa and their staff. Being in the middle of a city area it still felt like an oasis.

We loved the location of the property - a walk to restaurants and the beach front but quiet and peaceful also. The staff were wonderful, so helpful and friendly. We loved the private pool and the bed was very comfortable. We appreciated the daily cooked/prepared breakfast in our villa.

Beautiful in every way

Everything! It had the wow factor in many ways - beautiful planting and grounds, so much indoor space (not that we used it much as preferred to be outside), the beds were incredibly comfy and large, such a treat having delicious breakfasts cooked each morning, immaculately clean, pristine and beautiful private pool, very diligent mosquito prevention processes (weekly site fogging etc - I didn’t see a mosquito the whole time we were there and we had no bites), drinking water dispenser, turndown service and daily cleaning…. It really does feel five star +. Most importantly, the staff from reception, to cooking, cleaning, pool cleaning, grounds maintenance, security, and drivers…. They all without exception are rays of sunshine. Thank you so much for a magical holiday - we will return and be recommending to all our friends and family.

A perfectly beautiful and relaxing piece of paradise for any family lucky enough to visit Bali!

Everything! We had been travelling around through different regions in Bali for 3 weeks and decided to stay at the Zen Villas for the last 5 nights. What an absolute treat! My family have never stayed in such a luxurious accommodation before and were blown away by the beautiful property, its setting and facilities, the warmth of the people and the level of service. A fantastic end to a fabulous holiday 😊
