Wonderful hosts, excellent location. Very interesting layout. I loved the arched ceiling and painted walls. I was really too tired from tramping around the ruins to notice much. I slept for about 12 hours. Definitely comfortable.
Squeaky bed, no toilet seat, no curtains. Not a deal breaker. Just less than perfect. No problem.

It is situated in a very good location, with a fantastic garden when we spent nice coffe time. Lorena and Vincenzo are excellent hosts, they are very helpful, they gave to us good advices about the restaurants in the town and about programs, train timetables, etc.

Couple who run it are adorable. They help out with everything. Hostel is small enough to socialize and be around everyone. They give you food recommendations and everything. And all the places the recommendeded were great. Really helped me enjoy Pompeii after being abandoned by my travel mate. Drinks are super cheap here too.
Check out is at 10am and around 1030 you have to leave the hostel so they can clean. (Everyone even if you aren't checking out) nice that it's clean but if you've had a long day or such it kind of stinks because you can't rest.
Also no public restroom so once you check out you have to enter people's rooms to use the bathroom. Which was fine for me but you could tell some people felt uncomfortable about it.

I liked the decor and atmosphere a lot. People were super nice.
The dorm was a bit stressy but it can happen, it depends on the roommates. :) The private room was great.
