The hosts made all the difference. This is a family-owned property, and all the family members were relaxed, respectful, and made us feel at home. The property itself is located in a good, peaceful area where we could see Mount Vesuvius from our balcony. Pompei is just 3 km from the property. They own a bar and cafeteria about 700 m from the property and we were served breakfast of our choice there. There is also a common area where we can relax, unwind and eat together. We would love to stay there again if we are around Pompei. The bricks make a house but the humans in the house make it a home and we felt at home!!

Nothing much to dislike. It is just that the place is designed for hot climate and when we visited, (7th April), it was a bit cold in the room. However, the hosts' warmth more than compensated for everything :).

The views and the proximity to the ruins.

Located in a quite residential area, in a gated community with gated parking. The host lives next door and owns a business nearbyaking it easy to reach them for any questions. They made multiple trips to the place to help us with things.

It was not so easy to checkout early. We had to leave the keys in the apartment, but then you need the keys to open two gates even when leaving the property. We ended up opening the gate, running back to the door, dropping the keys and running out before it closes. It's hard to keep houseflies out of the room, may be this is a general problem in the neighborhood more than this specific place.
