It didn’t feel like a hotel, it felt like staying in someone’s home. There are only a few rooms on one floor of a big building, which is common in that area. The room had everything necessary. Great daily housekeeping. The staff members were always friendly and so helpful. I loved the wonderful classic building that it was in. A well-stocked grocery store within 300 feet was a real plus. The front desk is not open 24/7 as it would be in a big hotel but that was not an issue at all. You have your own keys, including the key to the front door of the whole building. There was lots of communication before I arrived about how to get the key if I arrived during the hours the desk wasn’t open.
I liked everything about Domus Livia! One day the building’s elevator was being repaired, but the stairs were available. That was certainly not the fault of Domus Livia. I was impressed by how quickly the building owners got it fixed.
