The owner, she was so welcoming and helpful. She even brought us a bottle of wine when she noticed on my passport it was my birthday. Our room was lovely with nice linens and our own covered terrace overlooking farm fields. It was spotlessly clean and within walking distance to markets and restaurants in the village. It was approx. 10 km from Plitvice Lakes National Park.
This was one of our very favourite stays. In a perfect world I’d love to have had a bath tub.

From the beginning, Marijana made the atmosphere very inviting and warm. She greeted me with coffee, gave suggestions on how to take the bus the next day to the park, and recommended some food in the area. When I missed the bus the next day, Marijana helped me connect with a taxi service to take me to the park. The breakfasts were delicious and plentiful, some of the best I have had on my trip. Plus, she gave me some bags to wrap up the leftovers so that I could have lunch in the park! The facilities are cozy, comfortable, and clean, and the surrounding scenery is beautiful. I would recommend this place to everyone, from solo traveler to small family. It is close enough to get to the park, but not too close that it is crowded with tourists. Also, go to the local BBQ spot and get the Ćevapi! So good!
