The hotel is very nice and the rooms are clean and tidy.
Unfortunately the door of the room didn’t fill out the frame properly, so there’s was a 3 cm gap where sound from the hallway went straight to the room. It seems like a quick fix to really elevate the comfort of the guests.

Location was far, close to good restaurants, four blocks to Copacabana Beach, few blocks to the metro station.
Great water pressure.

The location was very nice and in a safe area. The hotel was about a 5-minute walk from the metro station and Copacabana Beach. Even though we visited during Carnival and it was very crowded, we did not have any problems. The hotel staff were very helpful and all of them spoke good English. Compared to similar hotels, we stayed at a very reasonable price. The breakfast was also quite good. Enough quality with a fair price!
Only the reception area of the hotel was renovated; the rooms and the bathroom were old. Water was dripping from the bathroom ceiling. The room was not dirty, but it definitely could have been cleaner. During our 3 day stay, the room key card had to be reset three times. Each time we went up to the room, the door would not open, so we had to go back to the reception to reset it again.
