Great stay close to Geriba with delicious breakfast!

Everything was very good - the pool was nice, the room was a good value and spacious for our family with two little kids, the breakfast was very good, all the cocktails we ordered as well, the playground for kids was great, we would stay here again!

There’s nothing bad to say - maybe it would be nice if they could have the bug repellent close to the pool.

The MOST excellent staff and facility in Buzios.

#1 - This place is an absolute dream come true for relaxation. So chill and tranquil. The atmosphere, landscaping, outside lighting, music, and pool work in harmony to bring you to a far away place of relaxation. #2 - The staff will handle ANY need that comes to surface. If there is a problem of any sort, they make sure to handle it immediately and rectify the situation. Fernando the manager along with his awesome staff were on top of everything! #3 - You will NOT find better food in Buzios. Serena has the best kitchen in the ENTIRE city! Trust me, we tried all the restaurants, EAT AT SERENA and you will not be disappointed!!!

This is such a small issue but the glass shelf in the shower was unnecessary. It was located on the wall where you walk in and out and I found that out of place. That is the only thing I found that I’d change😉.

Gorgeous hotel, great location, with a few adjustments can easily become one of best deals in Buzios

The hotel is very very beautiful, with a friendly and attentive staff and in a great location. Our room was beautiful, comfortable and surprisingly quiet. Breakfast was good, served in a lovely setting.

Some features in our room needed a little attention/better maintenance - poorly aged fixtures and decorations in the bathroom, some light fixtures needing some love, decorative pillows needing a better wash, small details. In the first night the staff forgot to leave us a blanket, but left one for the second night, without our asking, which was nice. The restaurant was quite expensive for Buzios standards, comparable to the top restaurants in Armação. We had lunch there when we arrived and the cost/benefit was not reasonable. Not a place where you can mindlessly sit and order a snack or light meal.

The staff was friendly. The location next to Geriba beach is great. The pool area is beautiful and relaxing. Access is as good as it can be (Buzios has a lot of choke points as it's super narrow). The value is great. Comfortable bed, good amenities, good breakfast.

Due to COVID there were minor inconveniences: - You need a QR Code to enter the city's sanitary road block and the hotel sends it in the day before the check-in - Some of the services were not available nor offered, such as shuttle service to Rua das Pedras, boat tours, beach service - Breakfast used to be in a buffet style and now it's being served in a "rodízio" fashion. Seems to have less options than last time I've been here. So you eat in a paced manner, as you have to wait for the food you want to pass by - Due to social distancing, you have to make a reservation for breakfast time slots. Around 45 min in duration. And you can only reserve it in the day before. Apart from those, my room had some problems with the door in a couple of days. The remote controllers for TV and AC were working intermittently. The bathroom design makes you jump the toilet when transitioning in/off shower. And as we are surrounded by vegetation, some bugs or leaves could be found at times, but did not annoy us at all. Some parts of the room might indicate a need to renovation as there are some stains in bathroom tiles and corners. Parking might be a problem in the weekends as the street might be overrun by tourist cars and the hotel's parking lot is limited to a few cars.
