I stayed 4 nights at the IGH in Portland. I appreciated the cleanliness of the room & bathroom. Found the air conditioning unit in the room to be more than adequate. Bed and pillows were super comfortable, and loved the good quality bedding! I was on the lower floor, and was never disturbed by sounds from other rooms. Proximity to Trader Joes (practically next door) was really helpful, and great restaurants, coffee shops all around. I'll be back!

Nice location, very close to shopping locations and also Washington park. Can even walk over to Washington park entrance to take the free shuttle to get around. Very comfy and fluffy towels.

The water heater broke on the last night of our stay, but the manager graciously told us ahead of time and offered us some options.

not that close to transport if you need to get to the other side of Portland, noisy outside, blinds are not effective for keeping light out so would've preferred curtains, owner left a poorly worded and fairly aggressive letter about payment that was dropped off at a strange hour. my recommendation is to call the guest on the phone in the future, or drop the notice off in the early evening so that you're not woken up to this type of message cause it set a bad tone for the rest of my stay when I was already working around the clock.
