Nothing was missing or not liked but maybe better signage at the road as we missed the turning first time and had to go round the roundabout to come back. Maybe a sign a few yards before the entrance to alert us

On arrival greeted by Fintan...so nice he's a real star, room lovely and warm/cosy.. Breakfast was also a big hit All staff really friendly defo stay again if I'm up in the vicinity

Very charming and cozy. The food and service were outstanding. The Oranmore is family owned, and you can tell the family loves what they do. Everyone was professional, friendly, and very accommodating. I would go back in a heartbeat.

Stayed here as I was attending a wedding at the Leighnmore House. Not too far a walk so very handy option. Beautiful spot with very friendly staff. Feeling a bit worse for wear from the wedding the previous night so the staff very kindly offered to deliver breakfast in bed!

It suited our needs as it was close to wedding venue & reasonably priced

Location was excellent as we were attending a wedding in a nearby hotel. Staff were lovely. Rooms were great - we were in an annex and the two rooms were beside each other in a little ‘suite’ with a corner sofa, large flat screen TV, tea/coffee toasting facilities, fridge, iron and sink. Complimentary water and tea & coffee facilities were available in each bedroom. Rooms were a good size, plenty of electrical sockets, comfortable beds & bedding and lovely bathrooms. Some furniture and carpet in ‘suite’ area was a little dated. Our only negative was the quality of the breakfast - the soda and potato bread were very undercooked and the egg was tiny. The sausage also wasn’t very nice, but plenty of tea & coffee in large pots on the table. The mixes fruit and berries was very fresh. The grounds are lovely and well maintained, but there was dog poop at the edge of the garden when we arrived and was still there when we left the next morning.

Lovely hotel with character . Very welcoming and helpful staff . We had dinner there and it was just fantastic , great value and breakfast the next morning was just as good . All served and presented beautifully , we felt very spoilt ! A lovely place to stay .

A beautiful spot tucked away in a quiet location.

We were attending a wedding at Tullyglass Hotel so the location was absolutely perfect. We actually walked home from the wedding events on the evening of. It's such a beautiful hotel/b&b tucked away in a quiet location surrounded by lovely gardens. The staff were friendly and the room was perfect. It had a nice regal feel to it and the garden views were so pretty. The breakfast was farm to table with the eggs coming from the chickens located on the grounds. I would highly recommend Oranmore to anyone staying in the Ballymena area.

Charming, delightful and full of love

What was not to like? The surroundings are beautiful, the hosts and staff are all delightful, it was peaceful and private. The food, what can I say? This really was the best breakfast. Fresh eggs from their own chickens. Nothing was too much, accommodating and made you feel so welcome. Our room was lovely, proper tea cups for tea. Spacious, spotlessly clean, warm and comfortable. I really could go on and on. I really enjoyed my room, it was the Sheridan suit and it was right by the chickens. I found their gentle clucking very relaxing and the garden views were beautiful. I arrived pretty late in the night and my host was still ready to greet me with a warm smile and quickly showed me to my room. I would and probably will stay here again and again, and I highly recommend this lovely guest house.

I cannot find any faults. This is a beautiful, comfortable, clean and welcoming guest house. They have everything you could want and a little bit more. Delightful place.

An amazing hotel with wonderful staff - thank you

We were visiting the Causeway coastal route, which was spectacular, and chose to stay in Ballymena rather than moving every couple of days around the coast. This allowed us to visit the Glens of Antrim nature-trails & forests as well as the coast. The Oranmore was central, convenient and very welcoming. Our pre meal drinks in the lounge was relaxed before an amazing evening meal that was fresh, homemade and great choice. Breakfast was also fresh and v filling (especially the pancakes that were fab). The room was perfect and so quiet. The family and staff who run the Oranmore were so friendly, helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Would I recommend - definitely; would I return - definitely.

Fine enough stay

Really good breakfast options, unfortunately we were at a wedding the night before so didn't take full advantage but the food coming out looked good. Bed was comfy, room was spacious. Fine enough stay.

The bed had a weird wooden overhang at the end of it which seemed completely unnecessary. We both walked into it during the night and ended up with bad bruises on our legs. It would maybe be easier to have a key for the door to the cottages, rather than a code as it was quite fiddly and we had to get help.

Location was very convenient and the hotel is in a lovely setting. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating and made us very welcome. The food and drinks available at the bar was fantastic.

A slight issue with the room that the emergency exit sign is very bright and illuminates the room green at night.
