This is the best place!

We didn't want to leave this wonderful house! It's very cozy and warm, and the Mokra Gora station is nearby. There's a store nearby. I especially want to mention the owner of the house! He's the kindest and most hospitable person! He's a true soul! We highly recommend Villa Mir! Mokra Gora will always remain in our hearts! We love it!

Cozy retreat

This place brings childhood memories of my grandparents home, it’s run by a very sympathetic man and we could easily converse via google translate. It’s very close to the Sargan eight train and can only recommend it. It’s clean, has all the amenities and cozy

Perfect stay

I could not recommend this place more highly. The hosts were absolutely amazing and so helpful. You have the entire villa to yourself which is very roomy with a large bedroom and seperate lounge room. The property is a few hundred metres from the Sargan 8 train and there is a nice hike behind the hill.

Wonderful place and amazing owners!

Everything. They couldn't do better. The owners are very kind and sweet. They offered me a coffee and despite they don't speak English, we communicate well with Google translate and they were very helpful. The house is very close to the center of the village, where there are the famous train station and the restaurant. The place is cozy, very clean and quiet. They provide you a towel and hands soap. It was the best stay of my travel!

A home away from home

I loved everything about this place: the position, perfect to walk in nature, also all the attractions are in a walking distance and the restaurant is just behind the corner. The apartament is great: big, clean and with an amazing view. I don't know why, maybe it's the wooden ceiling in the room, but this place doesn't feel like an hotel, it feels truly like home. The old man who rents the apartament is also a gem: he's been kind in every possible way, his smiles and kind words really make your days. I'm so grateful that I came here, you won't regret it, it's impossibile!

Ease access to all the tourist places in Mokra gora

We had a great time with the property host here. There were very friendly and treated as their family members. This villa is located next to the highway and walkable distance to the railway station. If you have car you can park here in this villa and walk to the railway station.

This is beyond words. I honestly never felt so at home somewhere. The hosts are wonderful and super helpful even though they don’t speak english. the view from the apartment is beautiful and the location is walking distance to all you need or want to see. Also it’s super clean and cozy. they even had a little heater as it has been cold. just wonderful.

Very welcoming hosts. The place is better than it looks in the pictures. Fantastic location (if you have a car/personal transportation). Comfortable lodging. Clean.

Nothing to dislike. A little remote location, of course, with not many grocery stores or restaurant choices but it is as expected. You need your own means of travel.

Sweet caring couple and great location.

The owners are a sweet couple ,they don't speak English but with google translate we had interesting interactions. They gave tips to all tourist places, as I did not have a car they arranged for me to go to Tara National Park and The house on river Drina. They treated me like family. A huge watermelon portion was put in the fridge for me. Coffee was offered as welcome drink. And they let me do my laundry too! I had a great stay with them. The train station and other attractions are walking distance.

The couple who own the property are so lovely, we had a wonderful chat for an hour via google translate. Staying here was exceptional because of them, 10+. They encouraged me to take the narrow gauge train ride which I did, and it was amazing well worth it. I would have stayed an extra night but they were booked out.

There were two elderly people who are sooooo nice people :) They do not know English but they are trying their best with translator :) The house was clean, wifi was good and everything else was good.

Very nice and welcoming host

The grandpa was very welcoming and nice. When I reached their location after a long day of driving . He made me a special coffee and gave me some homemade brandy. We had a good discussion about Serbian culture and food for like 30 min. He even suggested me some good places and foods to try. Rooms are clean, washroom is clean. They have a Good view from the balcony aswell.

An adventure with the old train

The guesthouse is very pretty , a nice house with a garden, very quiet, clean and confortable. The location is very near the old train station where you can do the amazing train trip and also visit around Drvengrad, Kusturica village, which is fabulous. Also I could hike to the church Bela Voda, with a nice location in a vallee nextby. The owner and his wife are so friendly and welcoming that I feld at home. Thank you so much for this wonderful time I had in Mokra Gora. Yanna

Remote escape with gorgeous scenery at a bargain price

Extremely affordable and an absolutely stunning location in the wilderness. The top storey of the house is for guests, which means there is privacy. The kitchenette includes a benchtop oven with two hobs and a bar fridge, so you can prepare your own food.

Gorgeous setting run by the sweetest couple ever

5 mins walk from the train station for the Sargan 8. Also a lovely 25 mins walk to Bele Vode. Offer of coffee and rakyia on arrival was appreciated. They don't speak English, but the husband is an expert with google translate. Lovely balcony on upper floor and great space for breakfast by the pond with lots of flowers. Very peaceful setting

Location is right near Sargon 8 train station. The best thing about the stay is the hosts. It was good to meet local Serbs in the area. We had some chats through translation app. We were given coffee with rakija on arrival which was nice! I recommend this property! Tip if travelling by bus: there are only two buses daily leaving Mokra Gora towards Uzice. They are approximately 8:30 and 16:30. We tried to get one at 11:30 but it didn't show up.

Mi è piaciuto tutto. l'appartamento è freschissimo quando fuori C'erano 40 gradi anche senza climatizzatore che comunque è presente nella sala. Il posto auto c'è a volontà ma io l'ho messo sotto a dei Pini dall'altra parte della strada per fare rimanere l'auto all'ombra. I gestori sono simpatici anziani, lei e invalida ma sono gentilissimi. Veramente a cinque minuti dalla stazione del treno e c'è solo un ristorante.
