Amazing place to vacation

The entire condo was clean and a great location. Everything needed was provided by the host for a great beach vacation.

Very basic condo/unit, yet we enjoyed our week at The Tides overall.

Property manager and arrived to take us into the 11th floor condo and was physically available to explain/show us the unit. Sandra shared her cell number to contact her if needed. Complex was in a good location and front desk was staffed for any questions, if needed. Serving and cookware, utensils provided. Beach towels, 2 beach chairs, beach umbrella and a large cooler were in the unit. Pool chairs/free and bathrooms available on pool deck. We did not experience long wait time for elevators. All kitchen appliances were functional. Large closet with hangers and extra blankets available. Air conditioning worked well. Unit was decent, clean and generally comfortable.

Unit lacked basics such as toilet paper, paper towel, trash bags, salt and pepper. We purchased those items along with a can opener and coffee filters which we donated. We shopped for and made 2 meals per day and storage containers with lids would have been helpful for leftovers. We resulted to buying throw away containers. Other extra costs included laundry fee, $30 key fob fee (1 required for every 2 guests registered to unit), $100 to park car on premises, and a $20 car tag fee. $25 per day if wanted to rent a lounge chair to sit on beach. These fees were not disclosed in listing. Unit needs more comfort seating and dish/bath towels if more than 2-3 guests. Some basic cleaning supplies would have been appreciated although dish soap and broom/mop was provided. Pool was clean and could get chairs but needed to arrive when it opened to secure choice of spot as tables and umbrellas were sparse. Grounds around pool could use sprucing up and maintenance of landscaping. Keyless entry mechanism was very finicky. A car is a must to enjoy dinner at numerous restaurants in the area.
