Great stay for a big group of family and friends

Location is great. The property is very close to the sea with a really lovely and quiet beach. The property is very spacious, the host is very responsive and helpful. Some people from our group have already booked their stay at this property for next year 😁

The living room/ common area does not have an air conditioning unit, but we got by by opening up lots of windows and the doors to the terrace

Perfect place !

The host was super nice the house is in a great location, 15 minutes drive from the best beach in crete. the kitchen is great with all the equipment and even got capsules for the coffee machine and the host let us use his washing machine, great place, and a great price.

Lovely villa with all comforts and a very homely feeling, perfectforour familyof 5. There is a nice beach 5 minutes walk away. A car is needed. Menelaos was extremely helpful and patient with us.

Perfect Apartment for Kissamos

2min from a beautiful beach (never crowded) and good location to visit Balos, Elafonisi and the West part of the island. Quiet in the nature and the owner is really nice. You have a nice kitchen and all the tools to cook and have a coffe in the nice garden. Good AC

amazing seafront location. the house great, the rooms are big enough, living/ dining room with an open kitchen is just super huge. Definitely recommended to everyone who want to visit Crete. Balos beach is just 30 minutes by car, bicycle or quad. if you want you can just walk approx 1 hour. shops are 5 minutes by car. beautiful beaches around.

Close to perfect Apartment but..

Generally speaking, really great apartment and friendly host, but... (see later) The apartment is huge and very well equipped, definitely good for 4 adults + 2-4 children. Bottom level has a nice kitchen and living area with balcony all around and huge windows, nice seating on the balcony. From the bedrooms and both level of balconies very nice view on the sea to enjoy late nights, or breakfasts. It was almost a perfect place to discover and enjoy Crete for a longer stay, but there were some disturbing issues.

Parking Parking would have been fine since you got plenty of place on your back yard, but with an Audi A4 you could not really enter to the property. The entrance to the plot is probably DIY solution and too steep, so my car did stuck every time in and out. Host tried to help and did put extra rocks for support to be fair, but couldn't solve the issue. You need a car to get around, it is essential, and the dirt road front of the plot is not a the nicest place to leave your car for the night, so it was an issue which was not pleasant. You will not have this problem with the small rental cars though, but I would not choose the apartment with a more expensive car. Without this issues I would rate the Apartment a solid 9. Entry to the beach You do not have direct access to the beach road, so you either go around on a 15 min walk which is not great in the dark with unknown street dogs walking to you and barking, or take your car to the beach. Alternatively you can cross the empty plots on dirt roads to access the beach road. This is a very nice solution, really takes only 5 minutes, but.. the empty plots were overgrown with weeds, so late August that was really only a one time adventure, and never went that route again :) too many bugs, and thick weeds, expect some skin rashes.. Small bits around the house Few of the balcony doors are hard to close or not closing at all. We were not afraid for our stuffs' when we left to the beach the whole day, as the neighborhood was almost totally empty, but that's something to keep in mind. You can expect small lizards and some jumping spiders inside the house, but they are easy to get rid off :) AC is only available on the top floor, so you might get hot in the living area, but that's not something you wouldn't expect during summer time in Crete.

Comfortable place to visit the west side of Crete

The home is very spacious, with various rooms for all kids (even with a 3rd floor we could have used). The view from the rooms and the living room is just great - directly to the sea, a few hundred of meters away. The kitchen was well equipped - and the plot around the home with the garden gives a lot of place for the kids to play. The home is well located nearby Kissamos - 10 minutes from the departure to Gramvousa, or all the see-sights on the west side of Crete.

Some of the equipments would deserve a refresh (for instance the bath tube had some plumbing issues - not a big deal as there are 2 showers). The path to the sea is not straightforward (the home is in a farming area). It was exceptional, but it was also very very windy,

Great for relaxing

It's a great location if you like peace and quiet. It's 2mins walk from a quiet beach I was fortunate that hardly anyone was staying in the main villa above me.

Because it's all on the ground floor, there is no view. Electric plugs are in odd positions, especially as I was using both the kettle and the coffee machine.

excellent location, very close to Balos beach (from the apartment you can see the dirt road that leads to the beach). From the house there is a beautiful sea view and a lot of quiet as it is a bit isolated in the countryside. the owner was extremely nice, very flexible with the check-in and check-out times and greeted us with a much appreciated welcome gift. the house is very spacious, has three comfortable bedrooms, three bathrooms and a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher. I definitely recommend it

It was very quiet because we were the only guests and had the house to ourselves. The area is used agriculturally and getting to the beach took a while...then we also had the beach to ourselves. I imagine, if it weren’t for the Corona situation, this area would be much more populated.

Perfect place for your Cretan holiday near the sea

Host was very kind and hospitable, responded in minutes when needed, respected our privacy. Everything was perfect, all amenities you need, breath taking view from terrace, wild beach reachable in two minutes on foot, barbecue equipment available. The location of villa is perfect - no crowds, no noise. Villa has a big yard to park car and even to play paddle or any other game. Convenient location for visiting Balos, Elafonisi, Falassarna beaches if you prefer fancy sun bathing in crowds.

Rendkívül jól felszerelt szállás !! Pontos kulcsátadás. Tiszta és csendes volt a ház. Szomszédok nincsenek ! Nagy kert részben könnyedén tudtunk parkolni. A tengerpart közel van. Van kerti slag, így könnyedén le tudtuk mosni a bérautót. Külön köszönet a távcsőért, így meg tudtuk vizsgálni a teliholdat közelről! Remek élmény volt.

Kicsit nehezebben lehet a kapun bemenni egy nagyobb autóval (9 személyes), de némi segítséggel ez sem probléma. Gyakorlás után pedig már gördülékenyen ment.

Posizione strategica per le top spiagge. Ottima soluzione!

Il titolare Menelaos gentilissimo su whatsapp, ci ha concesso check in anticipato e late check out. Addirittura ci ha lasciato 2 appartamenti...ciò significa avere 2 bagni e spazio infinito per bagagli ecc...Una comodità unica! Avendo la macchina, la posizione è strategica perchè è vicinissima al Porto di Kissamos per andare a Balos via nave, nonchè vicino a Falasarna. Usata come base anche per Elafonisi, pur essendo più distante Appartamento principale molto carino. Struttura in mezzo alla natura ma a solo poco più di 1 km dalla statale, con supermercati e altri locali nelle vicinanze

Mancanza di set di cortesia ma per il prezzo pagato veramente basso, va bene così.

appartement calme et confortable à 2 pas de la plage

Situation idéale à quelques dizaines de mètres de la plage (accès depuis la maison par un petit chemin) Il y a tout ce qu'il faut comme équipement avec wifi gratuit. Situé à quelques minutes du centre de Kissamos, le départ du chemin qui va à la plage de Balos est tout proche (il est aussi possible de prendre un bateau depuis le port situé entre le village et le logement) L'environnement est très calme (quelques maraichages aux alentours) et il n'y a pas de problème pour se garer devant la maison.

Très agréable , location proche de toutes commodités et de départ pour excursions inmanquables.

Magnifique maison très bien équipée; des terrasses tout autour avec vues sur la mer. Le petit accès au fond du terrain permettant d'emprunter un chemin conduisant à une petite plage caillouteuse à quelques centaines de mètres. La situation près de plages magnifiques et de la ville de Kissamos qui possède tous commerces et équipements médicaux nécessaires

Dommage que la maison soit située dans une région agricole pas très bien entretenue (serres déchirées...) mais ce n'est qu'un détail.
