Superb beyond all expectations. The very best indeed. Everything and decor was new too. 9.9/10

Luxury, clean, super friendly and massive space to live in. The location is amazing. The breakfast was very good indeed. This is by far the best hotel we have ever stayed in. The place made us feel like millionaires. The surrounding area is also beautiful. We look forward to staying again. We did not want to leave but we were on route to family so had to go.

The breakfast was in a grand hotel not on site but this is only 500m away. The hotel owns and uses 2 buildings.

Decent place to stay

It's on a one way street, parking was easy on the street. The two places in front of the house were occupied. I needed to walk a minute or so from the car. It's an easy walk to the park, town and to the hiking trails, very nice location.

I didn't read the email that I got from the Hotel that described the check-in process, so it was more difficult than it should have been for me. I expected something a but more normal... but the check-in process was a bit unusual. If I had read the mail, it would have been ok. The reception and the room (in Villa Waldfrieden) are in different villages. That means, the place you pick up the key (key card), requires you first to drive to the other hotel in the other little town to get the key card. Then back to the place you actually sleep at. For check-out, it is not problem, there is a box to drop your key as you are leaving, no need to go back to the other hotel's reception. I was too tired to ask about and figure out breakfast, but it seems to be in the same place you get the keycard (the other village), although there is some door labelled cafe in the same building as the room, but it was closed when I was there. I also ended up with with I think was the cheapest room -- I booked the the room, last minute. I was expecting at least a little view, but my window was right next to a walkway and stairs so I didn't really want to open the window or curtains. The old building lets noise through the walls too, so other people just walking through the building, opening doors and such was a bit loud at midnight, I should have used earplugs.

A quiet, green and reinvigorating environment with a deep past and a promising future!

Nice personnel, very committed. Wonderful surroundings. Excellent food with real tasty vegetarian dishes (not just meat dish without the meat).

Two tiny things: - please inform guests in advance that the reception is not in the villa but in the Jugendstill hotel about one km away. It was not a problem for us; we came by car. But imagine we had come by train, walked all the way from the train station to the Villa to find out that we had another 2 km round trip to the hotel to fetch the key; that would have been a bummer. - please provide a mini bar, or just an empty small fridge in the rooms. Guest can keep certain medication in there; or some food for lunch pick-nick. It was such a bother asking staff at the hotel to keep our stuff in the fridge over night and take it back in the morning.

Mit Freunden in der Pfslz

Das Haus ist grandios, man ist schnell in der Stadt und kann sich zum Frühstück beim Bäcker oder Supermarkt versorgen. Die Kombination mit der Pfalzcard ist optimal. Unsere Freunde hatten die Suite im Hinterhaus, wir hatten einen schönen Abend.

Leider gibt es im Haus keinen Kaffeeautomaten mehr, das habe ich angeregt. Eine Maschine für Pulver ist vorhanden. Eine gute Option wäre die Verfügbarkeit einer Kapsel oder Pad-Maschine.

Ein wunderschönes Hotel. Ein tolles Team, das in allen Fragen den Gast umsorgt. Ganz besonders hervorheben möchte ich das Restaurant und den tollen italienischen Kellner, der uns einen wunderbaren Abend beschert hat.

Es war ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt.

Wir sind ein älteres Ehepaar und bekamen ein Upgrade im dazugehörigen Jugendstilhotel mit Aufzug und zubuchbarem Frühstück, was uns wegen unserer Gehbehinderung sehr entgegen kam. Das sehr reichhaltige und ansprechende Frühstück konnten wir in einem angenehmen Ambiente einnehmen. Unser Zimmer war geschmackvoll eingerichtet und die Betten hervorragend. Vom Hotel aus gab es schöne Wander- und Spazierwege. Leider hat es während unseres Aufenthaltes nur geregnet. Deshalb konnten wir diese nur bedingt nutzen. Wir werden gerne wiederkommen.

Wir hatten die Suite Sonnenberg, die einen seperaten Eingang hat, eine große Terrasse und Garten, sehr ruhig und sehr groß ist. Die Betten sind sehr gut. Wir haben das Café und die Gemeinschaftsküche genutzt, um uns morgens Frühstück und nachmittags Kaffee zu machen. Ansonsten waren wir in Annweiler sehr gut essen. Auch in dem Hotel Jugendstilvilla kann man ausgezeichnet essen. Von der Villa Waldfrieden kann man direkt toll wandern gehen. Der Burgenweg ist zu empfehlen. In den Ortskern ist es ca. 10 min zu Fuß. Wir waren sehr zufrieden.

Im Großen und Ganzen sehr zufrieden, kann man wieder besuchen.

Saubere und Ordentliche Unterkunft, Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend. Kaffee schmeckt super. Leider muss man die Zimmerkarte separat abholen, unser Zimmer war bei Ankunft noch schmutzig als Entschädigung konnten wir ein anderes Zimmer uns aussuchen und 2x Getränke aufs Haus aus der Minibar.Personal war schnell vor Ort, es konnte schnell geholfen werden. Das Doppelbett schiebt sich leider auseinander. Nicht so toll sind die "Hauregeln" Ich buche keine Unterkunft/Hotel um dann den Müll rausbringen zu müssen oder Staub zu saugen.

Ein absolutes Übernachtungs-Highlight! Wunderschöne stilvoll möblierte sehr große Räume, teilweise über mehrere Ebenen. Wir hatten das luxuriöse Wellnesszimmer mit freistehender Badewanne vor der riesigen Terrasse, Badesalz inklusive. Im Erdgeschoss tolle Gemeinschaftsräume mit perfekt ausgestatteter Küche und Kaffeeautomat. Super Preis-Leistungsverhältnis.
