Crescent Beach Villas By Beachside Management

The villa had plenty of space for two (or more) and the back yard was huge, beautiful and perfect for breakfast or a late afternoon snack. There was even a pool (although too cold to use when we were there). I was surprised there was a laundry room for both units to share since I didn't remember it being mentioned in the description. Property was newly remodeled after the hurricane so most things were new. It adjoins another unit which would make the entire building great to rent for a large family. One block from Point of Rocks beach which has great shelling.

The fridge doors are installed backwards so it was awkward to open it. There was an ant problem that, despite management's attempts to correct it, did not improve. There was, however, another pest issue that management did resolve immediately. While minor, the pillows were all the same firmness (hard). Having a variety of firmnesses to choose from (each bed had 4 pillows) like many hotels now provide would have been great. Also hooks in the hall bath and a towel rack in master bath would be nice additions since there weren't enough spots to hang wet towels.

Great location (quiet street 4 minutes walk from the beach), nicely configured and equipped, very clean and orderly. Really nice landscaping and cute convenient pool (contractors came regularly to keep it up). Office stuff was extremely friendly and helpful to us. Laundry room got pretty much new washer/dryer combos (2). For my party, two couples, it was exactly what we wanted and it was priced reasonably.

It was confusing to find fully equipped kitchen and above-average level of all appliances - but not even a salt/pepper. Yes, we left behind good set of everyday spices for a next guest.

The inside of the oroperty was fine, and it's a 10 minute walk to a very nice beach.

We experienced a number of issues during our stay. There were ants in multiple areas of the property, and we even found a large cockroach in one of the cabinets, which was very unpleasant. The check-in process was also disorganised. Although check-in was scheduled for 4pm, the property was not ready when we arrived at 5pm. We were then asked to drive to the office to complete paperwork, which added unnecessary inconvenience after a long journey. Communication and overall management felt quite uncoordinated and lacking attention to detail. The biggest issue, however, was the construction site next door. From 7am each day, there was constant noise from electric saws, hammering, and loud music that continued into the evening. While we understand this may have been outside of management’s control, an advance warning would have been appreciated so we could make an informed decision. Given the price, we expected a much higher standard. Unfortunately, the experience did not represent good value for money.
