Location

Lack of working Elevator making it only one for the whole building and quality of water. Water smelled and tasted like dirt.

The view was amazing. Elevators were fast! Spacious 3 showers!

No lights on the balcony. There was one, but it wasn't bright at all. Found some hair in one of the showers.

The access code did not work but we were given one key that allowed access.

Only that it was close to the beach and had a nice view.

Management was horrible. The condo was extremely outdated, the couches were ragged, and the refrigerator leaked water. The bed sheets and blankets were old, uncomfortable, itchy, and did not smell freshly washed. We were afraid to use the towels so I washed them. The restroom floors, showers, beds, and sinks had hair and god knows what else. There were signs posted throughout the condo threatening to charge us if we messed with certain things. For example to fridge temperature, The owners personal closet, and don’t scrape the walls. I felt like I was being scolded by my grandma every time I saw them. The A/C wasn’t cooling properly and when we complained about it we didn’t get a tech for many hours. Apparently they knew about it as they have had the issue before according to the A/C tech. When we talked to customer service at Vacasa they tried looking for another room to move us. They wanted to downgrade our stay to a two bedroom when we had looked so hard for a three bedroom. No way!!! Vacasa then found us another unit. We packed our stuff and moved to it only after opening the door and walking inside realized it was occupied. Mind you this is SOUTH TEXAS where almost everyone carries a gun. Imagine if the tenants had been there when we walked in! Worst case I would be on the news. Intruder shot! For a whole day our personal belongings were on a luggage cart. So inconvenient and ruined our weekend trip. My birthday weekend we spent more time moving around than relaxing even after securing the condo over two weeks before. When I reached out to the condo management to ask for a second permit to park he said they didn’t do that. Who in the world has a vehicle large enough to pack ten people plus their luggage. The condo we rented was also for our guests. They had to park along the street for fear of being towed and the whole time we were there, there were over 40 parking spots available.
