Hostal Antigüeño

Place is not far from restaurants, cafes, mini market, street food and Central Park. Comfortable beds with curtains; clean room and bathroom. Beautiful garden. Excellent food for purchase at reasonable prices. Free coffee in the early morning; free filtered water. Having use of the kitchen is a plus. Several daily comfortable items are made available for free. The staff is very nice and helpful.

Walls are thin and they have a vanity for grooming just outside the room I was staying, so it was noisy. People in the room were also noisy but that is not their fault. There was no water when I tried to use the shower; the receptionist opened a valve and the problem was solved. Breakfast included in the room rate would be nice, even if it meant a little higher room rate.

Chill vibe, nice breakfast, nice privat room

Some rooms are a big loud since the Roof is Covered with a plastic Panel and Cats (and other animals) are Running over it during the night. Nobodys fault, but still Important to say

The staff there were super helpful! The dorms are super quiet, which was a surprise cause I expected atleast someone talking on their phones - but all the guests were so respectful. The bathrooms were clean.

A little gem in Antigua! Located in quiet area of town away from hustle and bustle so depends if you want tranquility or nightclub vibes. Staff incredble and so friendly. Kitchen very well stocked equipment, very good cooker. Garden beautiful and tables hidden around nice to focus on work or a book. Social area to hang out and speak to people. Very well stocked snacks and drinks, and menu available for meals all day. 9/10! Loses a mark for showers not clean.

Toilets were cleaned but showers we not. There was a ball of hair stuck to the wall of shower for my entire stay 5 days. But in general all the positives outweigh this negative and I would definitely stay here again and recommend to friends.
