The large and beautiful property was well maintained by Patrick with a grand entry, manicured landscape and entry. Everything needed was present except food which was no problem with nearby markets. Surrounding places of interest was just a few minutes away. The beds were comfortable, bathrooms beautiful and clan and the views fantastic of the nearby beach. Patrick was attentive to any requests and very fair . The lady who met us to open the house was fantastic and personable. We look forward to coming back! Oh, and it is so quiet there.

We loved this property! The location was a perfect base for exploring Normandy beaches and D-Day museums and a quick & easy 30 mins drive from Cherbourg ferry port. The big garden, table tennis table and billiards table was enjoyed by both the kids and adults. We had a fabulous stay and hope to come back again next time we visit Normandy. Patrick was a relaxed and welcoming host - very helpful. Delighted all round.

My wife, our two teenage kids and I all thoroughly enjoyed our Normandie holiday last week. We had not visited the area before and although we were only there a week we got to see much of the local WW2 history - which was extremely moving - got to eat more oysters and beautiful fresh fish than we thought possible, toured the amazing "route de caps", did plenty of beach walking - and got to enjoy the local (liquid) apple delights of cidre, pommeau and Calvados! Staying at Patrick's house for the week made our holiday that added bit special. We were very graciously welcomed by Patrick and we very quickly saw how beautifully presented and spacious it was and how absolutely ideal it was going to be for us. So it proved. Wonderfully situated and with a view of the sea it was gloriously peaceful. The house is large, immaculately laid out, airy and extremely well equipped. There was absolutely nothing that we needed or wanted that wasn't already in the house - including the good WiFi that kept the teenagers happy!!! The area is rural, quiet and peaceful and the local facilities (including an Intermarche) in nearby Quettehue are great. Mention must also be made of the wonderful fish restaurants in nearby Saint-Vaast-la-Hougue - the 'plats du fruit der mer' are to die for! The quality of the accommodation that you have is the basic tenet of a good holiday - Patrik's wonderful house gave us precisely that. Thank you Patrick.

A beautiful house in a lovely location

A spacious modern superbly equipped house with a massive garden and sea views. And Patrick was a very pleasant and helpful host. A large well equipped kitchen, plenty of toilets and bathrooms/showers, TV, internet, table tennis and plenty of space in the garden to play boules, badminton etc, and we even learned how to play French billiards. Supermarket a 5 minute drive away and central for all the American sectors of D-Day museums etc and a short walk to the beach. We would recommend this house to anyone.

We spent a week in this beautiful house. The location was excellent, the facilities were perfect for our stay. We are keen cyclists, and cycled every day to all the surrounding villages and towns. We would definitely recommend it to others.

Dit huis is geweldig gelegen op een heuvel met prachtig zicht op de zee. 5 minuten wandelen en je bent op het strand. Bij aankomst was de eigenaar aanwezig en kregen een goede uitleg over de streek . Huis is tip top inorde. Niets mankeert. Bbq in de keuken. Biljart en ping pong tafel. Kortom alles aanwezig voor een top vakantie.

Wir waren von dem Haus total begeistert. Ein sehr großes Haus mit tollem Ausblick aufs Meer. Die Ausstattung war sehr gut. Wir wurden sehr nett, trotz Sprachschwierigkeiten, empfangen. Uns wurde der Kamin angefeuert und wir bekamen eine kleine Überraschung von Herrn Laisne'. Bäcker und Supermärkte sind in der Nähe. Ein schöner Wanderweg Gr223 führt direkt am Ort vorbeiAlso,wir hatten einen wirklich schönen erholsamen Urlaub und würden gerne noch mal zurück kommen. Vielen Dank!

Nach einem netten Empfang durch den Vermieter, ein kleiner gemeinsamer Rundgang und kleine Aufmerksamkeiten seitens des Vermieters konnten wir unseren Urlaub beginnen. Das Haus entspricht genau der Beschreibung. Es ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht und der tägliche Blick aufs Meer machte den Aufenthalt mehr als angenehm. Das Haus liegt sehr ruhig. Sehr zu empfehlen für Familien, mit Freunden und Kindern. Ausreichend Platz für 6 Personen. Gerne wieder :)

Wir hatten eine wunderbare Woche in diesem gut ausgestatteten Haus.Die Lage ist perfekt,um die Gegend zu erkunden. Supermärkte sind in der Nähe.Da die Aussicht so wunderbar und die Küche auch sehr gut ausgestattet ist,sind wir zum Abendessen zu Hause geblieben und haben diese Aussicht genossen.Die Beschreibung und die Fotos stimmen völlig überein.Die Kommunikation mit dem Gastgeber war einfach,der Check in und Check out ebenso.Man sollte nur wissen,dass man am Ende für den Strom und die Endreinigung nochmal zahlen muss,was bei der Buchung nicht kommuniziert wurde. Aber wir würden dieses tolle Haus jederzeit wieder mieten.

Maison très confortable ( très bonne literie), bien équipée, très propre avec une vue magique sur la mer. La salle à manger est baignée de soleil le matin puis c’est au tour du salon dans l’après midi. Un propriétaire très sympathique, facile et accueillant avec des petites attentions à l’arrivée. Une maison idéale avec des ados ( billard, Ping Ping et plein de dvd à regarder le soir sur la télé grand écran ) et pour visiter la région très belle et intéressante. Maison avec tout le confort pour y vivre comme à la maison. La cuisine est bien équipée, la literie très confortable, les deux Sdb bien appréciables. Le propriétaire est sympathique, disponible et à l'écoute. La région très jolie et les ballades sont nombreuses. Wir wurden von Herrn Laisné sehr freundlich empfangen. Trotz einer kleinen Sprachbarriere verlief die Einweisung in das Ferienhaus reibungslos. Die ruhige Lage, das großzügige Grundstück mit schön angelegtem Garten und den Ausblick auf's Meer haben wir sehr genossen. Im Erdgeschoss befindet sich ein großzügiger Wohn- Essraum mit integrierter und sehr gut ausgestatteter Küche sowie ein WC und ein Abstellraum. Die drei Schlafzimmer und die zwei großen gut ausgestatteten Badezimmer im Obergeschoss fanden wir sehr beeindruckend. Das Grundstück und die Ausstattung des Ferienhauses ließen keine Wünsche offen. Das Ferienhaus und die Umgebung hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Wir könnten uns vorstellen, diesen Urlaub in ein paar Jahren zu wiederholen. Mit freundlichen Grüßen Familie Schüle

Wir hatten einen sehr entspannten Urlaub in diesem tollen Ferienhaus. Alles war sehr sauber und es fehlte an nichts. Ein wunderbarer Meerblick, ein großer Garten und sollte das Wetter mal nicht so gut sein kann man sich mit Tischtennis und Billard die Zeit vertreiben. Es gibt gute Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, viele Ausflugsziele und herrliche Sandstrände. Der Vermieter ist ausgesprochen freundlich und sympatisch.

Nous recommandons vivement cette villa ainsi que son propriétaire Après une réservation de dernière minute, celui-ci nous a appelés rapidement pour nous donner des informations sur son bien, et nous avons eu l'agréable surprise de le rencontrer dès le lendemain de notre arrivé afin qu'il nous explique certaines subtilités de sa demeure. Il est à noter que Monsieur L. nous avait réservé de petites attentions d'accueil, que nous avons beaucoup appréciées (boissons, gateaux, chauffage allumé, invitation pour dégustation d'huitres et vin blanc...). Sa maison est merveilleusement située face à la mer. Les photos actuelles du site ne la mettant pas assez en valeur à notre avis... Jolie construction sur un grand terrain, elle est à l'abri des regards. Le fonctionnel s'allie parfaitement à l'esthétique ( beaux matériaux / jolis meubles anciens/ délicate decoration très actuelle des chambres / salles de bains très spacieuses....) Tout est pensé pour le bien-être des yeux et du corps ! Nous avons recommandé cette propriété à nos amis qui ont des enfants ( jardin / table de ping-pong dans un garage spacieux ) Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir, les alentours permettant des ballades incroyables...

Wij verbleven hier van 20.4.2019 tot 27.04.2019. Het huis is ruim van opzet en van alle gemakken voorzien zoals een oven, magnetron, fornuis etc... (keukengerei overvloedig aanwezig). Open haard en indoor BBQ gaven ons net dat beetje meer, evenals het biljart en de pingpongtafel. Gelegen in een prachtige omgeving. Wij hebben een bijzonder plezierige tijd gehad. Invasie stranden goed aan te rijden, en in de buurt ook leuke dorpjes bezocht. Zonder meer een aanrader. Eigenaar Patrick is een heel vriendelijke man die op de afgesproken tijd aanwezig was om ons op te vangen en het huis te laten zien. Nogmaals, een aanrader. Patrick bedankt!

La maison est magifique, ultra équipée, agréablement décorée et très confortable. Si le temps est moyen, un feu de bois, un bon film sur grand écran, un bon plat avec des produits locaux, un ping pong et le moral reste au beau fixe. La vue est incroyable, sur les pommiers et la mer au loin. La terrasse bien orientée pour profiter du soleil toute la journée. Les chambres sont belles, claires, avec de bons lits et 2 sdb spacieuses. La situation est très bonne pour visiter les lieux de mémoire du débarquement. Je vous conseille les promenades que le propriétaire vous recommandera (guide sur place). Bref je n'ai que des éloges à faire. La cerise sur le gâteau est la gentillesse et la sympathie de Patrick, que nous espérons revoir. N'hésitez pas un instant, les réservations se remplissent vite.

Nous avons été très bien accueillis par Patrick. La maison est telle quelle est décrite dans l'annonce, parfaitement bien située avec un beau terrain et une belle vue mer. L'équipement est complet pour le confort, nous avons pu profiter des feux de cheminée, du billard et de la table de ping pong. Les chambres sont vastes et une mention spéciale pour la literie neuve et top. Une maison que nous louerons une prochaine fois sans aucun doute.
