Incredible place over the Maggiore Lake.

Incredible place, beautiful, quiet, authentic.If you are not in a hurry and want to relax in the middle of the nature, with an amazing view of Maggiore Lake it is a paradise. The apartment was comfortable and clean with a small garden in front of ot. The dinners are so tasty, real slow food over the lake at very reasonable price. Very rich and lazy breakfast. You can buy some home made marmelade and vegetables. I recommend 100%.

Consider 45 very difficult turns, so be careful. But the place is worth it!

Nice view and calm place

The property was authentic and with a really nice view on the lake. This was calm between woods and mountains. The owners offer their local products for the meal in their restaurant.

Unforgettable stay in an amazing place.

There are about 60 steep curves from Verbania until one reaches the top of Monterosso where the hotel is. But once you overcome those obstacles, you have the most beautiful view over Lago Maggiore (including Isola Bella), excellent home-made meals from local ingredients and relaxing atmosphere.

The view from the location

The access road is most dangerous. I counted about 40 U-turns on the road. When we drove down there was a hail and it was most dangerous to drive on this road.

Outdated yet charming

Great quiet location. You need to drive 20min steep uphill, be aware. Nice that there is breakfast and restaurant available with local specialties.

No hot water in the kitchen of apartment (1st floor in the white house) to do the dishes. Bathroom and wifi was fine. Seems last 10 years little is done to the place. Nevertheless it still has some off the beaten track charm.

Close to paradize (is it short enough?)

Exceptional location quiet and a great view, no an exceptional view over the lake and the mountains. The people there are really firendly, helpful, efficient. The food is excellent, the goods are from the farm, very tasty and well-cooked. And moreover, there is plenty for the starving ones! Breakfast is varied with home made cakes, preserves, fruits, am, cheese ...Finally you can even plan a long stay, plenty to do.

The breakfast was amazing and the staff was really friendly

The bed felt (and sounded) like it was from the Stone Age. Don’t expect a comfortable sleep here. The room was cold, when we told the staff about the fact that the heating didn’t work, we got (only) an extra blanket. Trying to wash your hands after a “long” toilet visit is impossible since there is no soap in the room to be found at all. There is not water boiler to heat yourself up with a nice cup of tea. Only a gas stove which seemed like it could kill you at night in your sleep if you’d use that to boil some water.

Ideale per relax completamente immersi nella natura!

Il titolare è stato gentile, subito esauriente nel descrivermi i vari servizi della struttura. La pulizia delle camere è ottima. Non ho avuto modo di assaggiare le pietanze della cucina ma sicuramente sarebbero state allo stesso livello di tutto il resto. Spettacolare ambiente naturale, si è completamente immersi nel bosco. Di sera ho incontrato tre caprioli, bellissimi.

Nulla da eccepire. Solo una caratteristica che potrebbe rivelarsi una criticità per alcuni, ma altri invece potrebbero apprezzare. Dipende dal motivo del soggiorno. La struttura è un po' scomoda da raggiungere, ma chiaramente è situata appositamente in un luogo isolato per starsene tranquilli ed immersi nella natura. Se il soggiorno si protrae diversi giorni con necessità di scendere al paese più volte, a lungo andare gli spostamenti potrebbero diventare un po' critici. Valutazione soggettiva.

Personale cortese e premuroso, panorama stupendo sul Lago Maggiore, si apprezza particolarmente il silenzio del bosco circostante soprattutto in bassa stagione, cucina tipica regionale e casalinga, assolutamente indicato per ritrovi famigliari o banchetti di matrimonio o altri tipi di evento.

Un endroit authentique avec une vue magnifique

Nous avons aimé les vues et l’authenticité de l’endroit. Bel accueil également de la part des hôtes. La terrasse pour le café le matin avec le baby foot et la table de ping pont pour les enfants étaient vraiment agréables et le repas du soir copieux avec des plats italiens typiques

Un havre de paix au milieu d'un circuit des grands lacs

Cet endroit se mérite : 40 virages pour y arriver. La récompense est bien présente avec une vue à 360° et au loin, le lac. C'est magnifique. Vous êtes très bien accueilli par les hôtes qui sont extrêmement charmants et compliants. nous logions dans le bâtiment principal avec une très belle vue de notre chambre. nous vous le recommandons. Le dîner est très bon.

La partie hotellière est à améliorer. La literie est à revoir et la salle de bains désuète. Le petit déjeuner n'est pas très produits du terroir. Des choses sous plastique, le jus de fruits trop sucré. Il pourrait vraiment gagner à être plus proche de produits du terroir.

Un gite magnifique situé au bout d'une route qui tourne beaucoup !

Nous étions un groupe de 13 personnes et nous avons eu la chance d'être logés dans un bâtiment situé à quelques centaines de mètres du gite principal. On avait ainsi un petit hôtel privatif, c'était parfait ! De plus, l'emplacement de cet agritourismo est exceptionnel, il surplombe le lac majeur. La vue est magnifique depuis la pelouse situé devant l'hôtel. Le menu du soir était délicieux et sentait bon la cuisine du terroir.

Nous avons passé une nuit pendant les canicules et un petit ventilateur dans chaque chambre aurait été apprécié.

Sehr ruhige Lage, wunderbare Natur rundherum. Im Restaurant (und auch sonst) wurden wir sehr freundlich bedient und haben sehr Gut gespiesen. Haben eine sehr schöne, ruhige Zeit genossen (ausser dem Wetter ;) ;) )
