With the "Appartamenti Vista Isola" the name is program, because the view on the lake, the islands and the mountains is terrific. These are two renovated in 2018 and tastefully refurbished 3½- and 4-bedroom apartments in the 2nd Floor of a Palazzo (6-family house) from the 17th Century, which is located directly on the beautiful, approximately 8 km long lakeside promenade a full-day sunny location. The two 90 m² apartments are well equipped with a dishwasher and washing machine and free wireless internet access. The house is within walking distance of shops, restaurants, cafes, bars and the beautiful Romanesque town of Pallanza, and the pier of the passenger ferry is only 200 m away. Thus, you can easily explore the lake by boat and take many diversified excursions up to the outlying Borromean Islands. For the sports enthusiasts, there is the town's tennis court, the public swimming pool with sand beach and the public beach with lawn in 500 to 900 m distance. The nearby nature reserve Val Grande offers a wide range of possibilities for experiencing and exploring a unique wild and original landscape. The promenade, on the other hand, invites you to take long walks. You can reach the world-famous Botanical Garden of Villa Taranto in about 30 minutes by foot with its more than 20,000 different plants from all over the world. Wir haben mit 2 Erwachsenen und 4 Kindern die Ferienwohnung im 3. Stock bewohnt.
Die Wohnung war sauber und sehr gut ausgestattet. Die Sicht auf den See vom kleinen Balkon aus ist traumhaft.
Einziger dicker Minuspunkt war die Tatsache, dass es keine Klimaanlage gab und es in der Wohnung meist sehr sehr warm war.
Die Lage der Ferienwohnung ist super. In wenigen Minuten erreicht man den meist gut besuchten öffentlichen Kiesstrand am See. (Sandstrand ist kostenpflichtig) Auch Supermarkt und Restaurants sind in unmittelbarer Nähe gut zu Fuß erreichbar.
Die Hausverwalterin war sehr nett und sprach gut deutsch, so dass die Abwicklung sehr schnell ging und unkompliziert war.
