It is a nice hotel with a restaurant. Location is perfect.

Great location.

No fridge available in my room. On Saturday was really noisy due to restaurant's clients who were smoking under my window.

Disappointing

Location good, l although only on street parking available.

1. I repeatedly asked for a receipt (for work expense reclaim), and was told by the barman who doubled up as the receptionist that he would email it. Despite at least three reminders during my stay, and a follow up request the next day through booking.com, I still have not received this. 2. The shower was scalding hot, as the mixing unit for cold-hot was not working. There was nobody to inform about this as there was no staff was on site, not I could find any staff up until when I was leaving at 7:45am. 3. I had not booked breakfast, but had I done, there would have been none available, as no staff present (at least not until I left at 7:45am)

the location was perfect for us. Breakfast was very good but not included in the price of the room. The room was ok but it would have been good to have an area to hang/ hangers for our clothes. The room is more suitable for 1 night only. The bar staff were very friendly which included Dan, Jason, Jeremy & others which I cant remember.

A Delughtful Room in a Charming Town

Lovely clean, quiet room over a charming pub. The town of Swords, quaint and friendly, is an added plus.

Good place for a one night stay; communication with the property is difficult.

Location: very close to the Dublin airport. Room is clean and bed is comfy. It's good for a 1 night transient stay.

There are no usb ports in the room. The European wall adaptors don't fit here, so we were not able to charge our phones/devices. €350/night non-refundable is exuberant for such a simple room. It's very difficult to get hold of the property management as they don't return emails nor inquiries sent via Booking.com. I was never able to find out if they are on WhatsApp, so the only way to contact them is by calling, which is pricy from my international phone.

The listing said there was a coffee machine in the room but there wasn't.. Breakfast is late so you have to go out for a coffee.

Entry was poor , no any chair or sofa in room , no room service or phone in room, I asked one double bed , they provide two single bed.

Good location, helpful staff, comfy room.

If you like shopping and dinning out, this hotel is ideally located. Plenty of pubs, restaurants, and such within easy walking distance. Rooms was clean and comfy. Staff were helpful and explain check-in and check-out.

Look, the hotel is above an active pub, so you can expect singing and loud conversations until well into the night. If you want a quiet night, keep the windows closed and bring ear plugs.

Loved the Fourty Four Hotel in Swords!!!! Here is why...

The staff was fantastic; Friendly, funny and really love their work as well as taking care of customers and making sure everyone is happy and things are going well. Truly appreceated them. I like that the hotel was private, nicely secured in the back and the ambiance of the bar and outdoor walkway was really nice. Perfectly centered in Swords with everything within walking distance. Coffee is nice and strong at the bar, food is good and there are plenty of places to go shop, eat and see while in swords. I found swords three years ago when I was working and walked through the town. A friend reccomended the Fourty Four hotel so I thought I would give it a try. So glad I did. Next time in Swords I am staying here....also their breakfast is good, and you cant go wrong with their food... but try "Green Straw" a few doors down. The food is incredible for breakfast or brunch! All the restaurants we tried were really good food!

The taxis in the area - IMPORTANT FYI be careful of the taxis from airport to hotel, and when grabbing one in the area to anyplace in Dublin or near bye. We found they were way overcharging and what it would say on UBER would be way higher when they got you to their destination and they would tell you its whats on the meter that matters not what UBER states. It's a shame because everything in swords and dublin is great and the people are so friendly... but the taxis are making it frustrating financially. Ask them beforehand what it will cost and make sure that is what they will charge.. .also keep receipts. Otherwise talk to the locals and take the buses around.

We flew in from Australia, a suitcase never arrived in our flight.. we waited till 12.30pm at this motel the next day only to find out the suitcase was delivered to this motel the night before.. it had our name on it… unnecessary miscommunication on this places behalf.

The location relative to the airport and pubs was perfect. The hotel bar and staff were also excellent. Anyone who needs to fly out of Dublin the next day or would like to simply enjoy a smaller suburb of Dublin, I would recommend staying at Fourty Four Main Street.

The hotel room was right above the entrance to the pub and noisy road. Multiple times we were woken by people shouting across the street and leaving the pub. Not ideal when you have to catch a 6am flight.
