Sandcastles - Cocoa Beach Oceanfront Condos with Heated Pool Tennis

The hotel is right on the oceanfront. Our room was on the first floor, facing the beach. The room had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, whether traveling with kids or without. There were 4 beach chairs, 4 surfboards, a cooler bag, a large beach blanket, and plenty of towels. The kitchen was fully equipped for cooking (except for oil), with all the necessary dishes, a dishwasher, and even a vacuum cleaner. There was also an ice maker in the refrigerator. It was very convenient to have both a washing machine and a dryer in the room, so we could always wash and dry our clothes. There were board games and TVs in every room. The beds were large and comfortable, with great mattresses. The host provides you with door codes, so there’s no need to meet anyone in person for check-in. The pool is open until 10 PM (although the website says it closes at 8 PM). There were very few people on the beach, which was wonderful. There is also a freshwater rinse station right by the hotel, which was very convenient for washing the sand off yourself and your belongings after the beach.

There was some confusion regarding the booking. I informed the host that we might arrive after 8:00 PM, but Booking.com kept sending me notifications saying that we had to arrive no later than 7:00 PM. In the end, everything worked out well, and I received the check-in instructions. The check-out time is also very early — 10:00 AM, which is the earliest check-out time I have encountered at a hotel. Another inconvenience was the amount of paperwork required. We had to sign several documents and provide multiple documents for identity verification, which was quite inconvenient.

The location was amazing and the proximity to the beach was on point. Having beach gear at the property to use was great. The condo was very comfortable and spacious. Clear to everything we wanted to do.

We absolutely didn’t have any issues.

Very roomie and had a comfortable feeling about it. Everything you would need in a kitchen. A nice lived in unit, but not so clean as to feel generic.

As soon as I walked into the master bedroom and saw the king size bed, you could see a visible dip of 5 inches in the center. How the owners of this unit could let that mattress get in that state either shows unwillingness to replace it or possibly the unawareness of it.
