Staff - we had the best Welcome from lovely staff. Location - just 5 minutes walk from train station and buses. Room - lovely and cool, with traditional Venetian style.

Passers-by were a little loud. Floorboards a little noisy so we could hear people walking around above us. But these things didn't put us off.

Frendly staf always ready to respond and help. Make reservations for us.

Great location, so easy to get to the train station as well as getting around Venice

WiFi was a bit of hit and miss for my phone in the bedroom.

3rd time staying at this hotel, had the same suite as last time. Wont be going back the ambience in the hotel has changed .

There has been a lot of staff changeover in the last couple of years, particularly in the evening staff. A lot of the evening staff were not Italian and did not speak English or Italian well enough to understand the words I spoke. They did not understand when I asked for things like "a jug of milk", as I did one evening so that I could make coffee in the room (didnt want the the small UHT pots) and they also struggled to understand the word "beer" one evening. The bar staff did not understand the word "Aperol". Problem is I don't speak Hindi or Tamil so I couldn't communicate properly. Never had that problem before in this hotel. I chose this hotel on the strength of lovely experiences previously, just wasn't the same feeling this time.
