No pool..!!

We have been staying at the ranch cabins for several years. Our main reason is the on site pool. Two days before we arrived we received an email that the pool was closed and had been all season. We should have been notified sooner than just two days

If your advertising a pool and it’s closed you should notify your guest way in advance so we can make other arrangements or at least give us a reduced rate due to the pool being closed. I also notified management the first day we arrived that the screen door was broken. I was told someone would come by but no one ever did. Very poor service.

We cooked our own breakfast. The location was perfect for our gathering.

The 10 digit door code was difficult and often did not work the first few times.

Easy walk to Nature center Plenty of towels King bed comfy

Hefty cleaning fee added to reservation fee and yet Black Mold on shower curtain, rug really old and stained throughout the downstairs including bedroom and bath. No cleaning products provided. Really difficult to be confident about the supposed “enhanced” COVID cleaning regime. Plenty of split wood for fireplace but no matches, paper, kindling or hatchet to create kindling. So basically fireplace yes, ability to use it, no. Batteries dead in 2 of the tv dvd remotes so couldn’t use those either without robbing batteries from our own electronics Batteries dead in clock. Not really crucial, but still it just added to the impression that the owners were just taking money and not putting anything back into the property. Sliding door to get out to patio. Doesn’t slide. It drags and emits a loud grating noise like the rollers are gone. Basically a unit in serious need of maintenance and renewal. If it was clean and in good shape would be an ok value for the money charged. As is, I definitely feel the original advertised fee before the add ons was more in line with the product delivered. As far as Vacasa as a listing agent? Will definitely steer clear of their offerings in the future.

The location is great for a family. The cabin has the right amount of furniture. Love the pool.

Lock box was left with the code set, anyone could have gotten the key. Bike shed was unlocked. Left me wondering, if something is missing am i going to get blamed and charged. Dirty shorts left in corner of master bedroom. One of the sliding doors needs help.
