It's ok...

It's a good half-way point between Ski Bowl and Sandy, although it is a good ways off highway 26. It's quiet and on a stream which is nice, especially in the early morning when you're in the hot tub. The open living room/kitchen/dining room makes for a nice gathering space for the family.

3 out of the 5 beds were really uncomfortable. Really cheap mattresses and sheets. One of my kids ended up sleeping on the couch because the bed was too uncomfortable. The kitchen is oddly supplied. Multiple light bulbs were burnt out. Several outlets were loose and didn't hold their plugs. The key pad for unlocking the entry door is very sensitive, and we stood out in the pouring rain for almost 5 minutes trying to get it to work. The deck has multiple cones on it indicating rotten spots, but the cones blew around in the wind, so by day two they weren't where they were supposed to be. The whole place feels run down and in need of repairs.

door to pantry was inoperable. Hall tree broken in front room. Musty smell as you first come in the home.

The home works if you are staying in the Mt. Hood area.

Location was good. View from the back picture window was great. Lots of game and activities for the kids.

The place is in need of some updates and a deep clean. The couches are so filthy and stained. The area around the hot tub was sloppy and just needed to be tended to. Minimal seating outside...a table would be great. You can see the owners are starting to update, as the bathrooms were newer and modern and that was very nice. Wish the owner had left directions on how to get the cable tv to work. We also wished there was a tv, even just a small one, in the main living room area downstairs.

Great little staycation between our home and The Mountain!

Cozy place. Hot tub and pellet stove were nice to return to after a day on the slopes!

A snow shovel would have come in handy. Walkway to the door was a sheet of ice on arrival. Was able to clear it with my boots after using the ice pellets, which were quite effective, thank you. We washed linens before departing, but I believe there is still a load in the washer, so you might want to let your cleaner know to throw it in the dryer. FYI, the cover for the tub is not attached to the swing bar, so it’s tricky to replace after use.
