Disappointed but enjoyed the views

The views from the deck and windows were amazing

The hot tub was broken. The whole house could use a little upkeep. Sheets on the bed upstairs were old and scratchy. No sharp working knives for cooking. For the price it was a little disappointing

A Birthday to Remember

Perched above the Pacific Ocean, sun streaming through the cathedral windows in the afternoon, this house had everything we needed.

Aside from not being able to stay longer, the downstairs toilet seat/lid is coming adrift so tricky to navigate!

Nice but need of some TLC.

The view

Things were just not in proper repair. The garage door was really hard to unlock and the knob was way to close to the door jam so when you opened it, it scraped your knuckles. The bbq was disgusting and just covered up like someone hoped no one was going to use it. The bar for the hottub was broken, and the cover was really in rough shape.

The views from the house were beautiful!

The house is very old and needs to be updated. The garbage disposal was leaking all under the sink and had an awful smell coming from it. The cleaners just put a bucket under the sink to obtain all the leaking water and they expect whom ever is staying there to empty the water. So we had to empty the old water from the prior people staying there, which smelled really bad. The cleaning costs for this house were ridiculous and the house was dirty when we arrived. Dishes left in dishwasher, the vents needed cleaned and food stains were left all over the place. The house says there is beach access, but there is not! The sewer in this house needs to be cleaned as there is an awful smell outside and water coming up out of the ground! There was old lights and furniture that needs to be thrown away in the garage. The heaters in the house are all rusty and truly look super dangerous. This house appears larger in the pictures. the hot tub does too, but it is not.

Disappointing

There was no breakfast…

You asked about breakfast?There was no breakfast… No television service Wi-Fi very weak … No toaster… … Nothing left as far as a welcoming beverage or snack as we have received in other air B& B’s or water ice cubes pots and pans disgusting poorly appointed kitchen … no desire to cook here … and this was not an inexpensive place to rent !!! Eclectic goodwill quality furniture outdated seriously needs a remodel beds comfortable water pressure was good kitchen faucet broken… Outside deck needs refinishing splinters inside lighting very poor… Dish towels stink… In the bathroom toilet tank discussing moth ball smell stinks and was disgusting No cushioning in the sofas very uncomfortable

The view was spectacular. Only con was not having direct access down to the beach. The whole place was a perfect stay for a relaxing getaway

A few things we’re not working properly but that was not a big issue. The kitchen was a great place to cook with all needed appliances! The yard needed some trimming but it WAS beautiful!!

Great oceanfront views

The Amazing view of the pacific ocean! The sound of ocean waves when going to sleep. Pleasant surrounding grounds in back of house. Good hot water.

For the high rent it was very outdated inside, questionable cleanliness. Hot tub didn't get hot enough. The downstairs bathroom had an unpleasant smell. The upstairs shower was so incredibly tiny. The carpet and furniture seen better days. Although we didn't call on this, there was a smell of propane on the bottom landing of stairs which was a bit concerning.

Pleasant

The location was beautiful and exactly as advertised - right on the ocean. Would have been nice to know you couldn't access the beach from the house without driving but the view was amazing.

The house was not as clean as it should have been. There was a yellow scum covering half of the bottom of the freezer. It was visible every time you opened the freezer. The windows in the living room that captured the beautiful view were dirty both inside and out. The outside is understandable due to the sea air, but the inside should be clean. The area around the doorknobs on the exterior doors were filthy. The ceiling fans were dusty and dirty. There were only 6 wash clothes for 4 people for a week and we had to hunt to find those. The toilet seat in the main bathroom was loose. The garbage was supposed to be taken to the road on Tuesday by someone the owner hired, but that was never done. We left on Friday and could barely get our one bag of garbage in the can. I am sure the next tenants had no where to put their garbage. If the owner is paying someone to clean this house, they are not getting their moneys worth!
