Lovely, charming home but accessibility was challenging.

The house was charming and comfortable with a lovely view.

From the photos and description I couldn’t tell there were so many stars. From parking to the front door there were 47 stairs total. This was very hard to navigate with mobility issues. Disclosing the four flights of stairs with only a rope railing would be important for guests that might have mobility issues.

Ok for the price but needs ALOT of improvement

View, railing for beach path, and hot tub

Lack of kitchen essentials, no access to a hose to get sand off before tracking it through the house, not enough dishwasher soap for our 5 day stay, upstairs balcony isn’t safe at all the whole bottom railing is coming off and it’s very SLIPPERY from condensation, gross hot tub that looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in sometime also locked controls so it’s lukewarm at best (99°)also the staff couldn’t have been more unfriendly and unaccommodating I will think twice about booking with Vacasa again

Was mainly upset w/falling on stairs cuz of no lighting. Stay was good just some things could have been better maint

Once we found it location was good close to beach

There was no lightning on back rock stairs that worked. So I tripped and fell hurting my knee & back!! Was very upset about that! Also I don’t think the lighting worked very well on front stairs either bushes blocking any light there was!! Hot tub was not very clean nor did it get very hot. And part of deck was broken away due to dry rot and could have been a hazard if stepped on it wrong.

Convenient location but that’s it

The view was nice and so was the hot tub

The walkway wouldn’t light up, so I ended up tripping at night and really hurting myself, the hot tub though nice was very dirty and had lots of soap in it. When we went to check in at the designated time there was still a housekeeper their cleaning who said “it’s been a long day” and acted like it was our fault she was still cleaning passed check in time. Very unimpressed with that. But she made sure she was there right at checkout to make sure we were gone. I’ve stayed in this home several years ago and literally nothing has changed but a small upgrade in furniture. I won’t stay again.

When they said there were stairs they meant staaaaaaaaairs and a bunch.

Location in Lincoln city is perfect! Plenty of bedding and towels to use. The upstairs is like having your own little apartment. Washer and dryer were great and convenient location for them so u can keep all the dirty stuff out of the way. Supplying the baby gates was wonderful.

Combination dead bolt needs replaced. I read on the reviews people had to call to get the right code so I was able to prepare my husband for that added stress but it would have been nice to not need to deal with that and of course when we got there the code we were given did not open the lock box and we had to call. (If you know it’s a repeated issue fix it) Also I read about the stairs and I also prepared my husband for that but I didn’t realize how bad going up and down them could be. I just had surgery 2 days prior to getting to the house for our stay and I was willing to just deal with the stairs but they are not regular stairs they are made of cement and bigger rocks so they can seem a little unstable under the feet. This is why the stairs should be listed in the ad and not just a possibility of seeing them in a review. I know plenty of families would still rent it and really appreciate your candor. Labeling some of the light switches would be nice. There was a light switch everywhere I turned around but I had no idea what it went to so I was turning off and on lights so much it looked like I had a strobe light at times.

The Far View house was very comfortable and met our needs for our family vacation.

The location was very good. The house was very cozy and comfortable. It met our needs for our family.

The property manager gave us the wrong entry key code. We wasted an hour trying to make contact with customer service and get the correct key code before we could get into the rental. Some other minor issues were with the toaster and the TV remote. The toaster wasn't working and the TV remote seemed to have dead batteries.

Disappointing

The fact that you guys are well aware of the lock issues and you choose not to fix it is very disappointing and it started my family vacation off on a bad note. Having to call and wait on hold for so long while kids need the restroom after a long car ride down from Vancouver.

a place to get R&R !

The property was amazing! the view was spectacular, the facilities were great……the only difficult thing was the 48 step climb to the front door ( my wife and I are both 80) , but by the time we left it was a breeze!

Maybe the rough climb to the property itself, but the view the house itself were worth it!!

Every was wonderful we really enjoyed the hot tub .Can't wait till we can go back

There was only one thing we didn't like and that was all the stairs but even that wouldn't keep me from staying there again .

Stay in Lincoln City

You could see the ocean from the windows and the close proximity to restaurants was great.

Our only real grip was when we went to use hot tub- the surroundings around the tub could use some updating and the hot tub wouldn’t get above 80. That was disappointing.

The view, hot tub, fireplace, location, kitchen. Lots of space!!

Gate to keep dogs in dry rotted and fell off during our stay..So this needs to be fixed so animals don’t escape. Upstairs bathroom door does not close at all. Difficult to have privacy. Hide a bed is missing springs.

It was secluded and quiet. Walking distant to the beach. The view was great. Cute little place!!

Packing everything up and down the stairs. Lighting could improve on the stairway.
